Fakhar is not in form so its a huge risk putting him on opening pair. It will put instant pressure on the team after he throws his wicket away.

Asif Ali has an average of 15 in his T20 international career which is below than many average full time bowlers in the world. His average of 15 is thanks to many dropped catches I can think of otherwise it would have come down to 10-12. This is unacceptable from any batsmen regardless of the playing condition, the situation in the match or whatever pressure. I don't remember if he has ever played more than 4 over in one game and we have given him ample opportunities in the last few years.

If anybody who does not deserve a place in our side, its Asif Ali to begin with...

To be precise I just checked his innings list and only once in his career he played 34 balls. In most of his innings he played under 10 balls before throwing away his wicket and he stayed not out for 10 times to boost his batting average from 5-6 to 15.86

Edit: Moreover, In the last 2 years Asif has an average of 12.08 despite playing wonderful innings against New Zeland and Afghanistan in T20i WC so how can we justify his place in the squad?
