Absolutely stunning, given the relative level of education some American guests on this thread clearly have, that they readily engage in obfuscation and misdirection to absolve a criminal nation of any guilt whatsoever, while condemning the condemnation instead.
Can the Americans leaping to Australia's defence clarify why nations engaged since WW2 in democracy-spreading in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, central America, South America, Iran, Pakistan, various eastern European nations and the Balkans believe it is acceptable to smear and silence those who peacefully protest against such acts occurring which inevitably and repeatedly cause mass civilian deaths? It is a form of censorship and is moreover, the absolute epitome of whataboutism. China simply has not got this record of rampaging without a care for innocent lives throughout foreign continents. Therefore China has every right to highlight western war crimes through direct criticism or satirical protest. Iran and Russia and Turkey and a hundred other nations have equivalent right. NATO countries have embarrassed themselves with this episode. Westerners need to learn to control their simple greed and rein in some of their own corporations, militaries and politicians, who terrorise other nations for personal gains.
Well spoken China. The civilised world looks forward to further exposes of western hypocrisy.
