What's new

Arvind Khejriwal resigned as Delhi CM !

Why coulntnt he send the bill to the lt governer? Get approval then table it in the assembly? The lt governers approval will essentially based on where the funding for the lokpal will come from...he is not going to pass any comment on the structure or any other content...for the lt governer the financial aspect is the only concern

This being so why couldnt kejriwal send the bill to the lt governer so that he could get acess to funding for it from the centre(president)?

The only reason i can think off is this

1)The congress has passed the lokpal bill in the parliment. This means Aravind kejriwal has no issue to place in front of the country to garner votes in Lok saba elections.

2) he has been in the cm post for just 2 months and hence he will still have nothing to show as an acheivement when he goes campaining for lok shaba because there is no time to actually acheive anything in this period before the lok shaba elections

3) so unless he Brings about the lokpal bill before the lok shaba elections he will have nothing to show....

4) hence to make sure he has something to show for the elections he tables the bill in the assembly without following due protocol because following protocol will need time( since it has to go to the lt governer from there to the president and back.)

5) the other parties did not accept the tabling of the bill without lt goverers approval which is the actual procedure. This mens he still has noting to show

so he turns the tables saying that the other parties are against the bill itself while the other parties are acually against the blant disregard of protocol by the AAP.

this proves that the AAP is more worried about the Lok sabha polls rather than acually bringing about the janlokpal bill...

And hence to show himself and his party as some kind of messiah and garner votes on lok sabha , kejriwal has brought about the full drama

The governor can always send back the bill after the Legislative Assembly passes it. Since when does a Governor, a non elected functionary, goes out of his way and tells a State Assembly of elected members that they cannot even table a Bill without his approval?! That is BS.

well hatever your theory is, you can't deny that he is not 'quitting' or 'running away'- he's trying to comeback stronger- and all indications are that the people of delhi will vote him back.

And that come back is at tax payers expense ,Wow what an idea sirjeeee

In a union territory, he can since in a Union territory, the money comes from the centre and it involves the President of India....

Again why didnt kejriwal not send the bill to lt governer for approval according to protocol? Why break protocol...if kejriwal had sent it to the lt governer and then if the lt governer had rejected it, it would be a diffrent matter but why did it not go through due process?

If kejriwal had follwed due process the bill might have been passed say in a max of six months i.e if there was any delay in approval process.

Every person / post in the constitution has a role and the constitution mandates due process be followed...

No person can just bend the constitution to their whims..
You cannot argue that the process was not followed for good coz there was no indication that the bill would have been rejected by the lt governer...

That is BS. No unelected functionary can prevent an elected representative body like the State Assembly from discussing on any subject. Not in a Union Territory, nowhere. WTF is an approval process before the Bill was passed in the Assembly?!! There is nothing in the Constitution that says tabling a Bill is unconstitutional. In fact, nothing procedural that happens in Legislative Assemblies and Parliament is subject to any court decision in the country. There are in fact checks on these bodies. That is when Governors/President signs a Bill into Act.

Especially these Governors and President have a duty to uphold the dignity of their office without resorting to activism, which is what the LG of Delhi did. Activism may be warranted in certain perilous times. But this is just an anti-corruption Bill. It is clear why the LG wrote the letter, undermining the elected Government. And the married in heaven parties BJP and Congress banded up against the Bill to bring down the government, as expected.

Now hopefully people of Delhi have realized their mistake and are aware of consequences for voting for socialist retards sand will give BJP

its not just 6 crores..its the 6 crores which the govt got from those people who paid the bills.leave congress or bjp or parties out of this.what im trying to say is if i paid my bill on time and govt pays the bills of defaulters with my money..thats an insult to me!!thats more like punishing people for following rules.

Are they puting the 6 crores into their pockets? no! they are putting it back into the economy. We are punished everyday living under the chor politicians of Congress and BJP who loot untold amounts of money(Lakhs of crores!) from the tax payers like you which goes into their pockets from which their children do ayashi yet you are obsessed with a mere 6 crore rupees that is going back into the economy. wow

what i am saying is he did a bad thing.what you are saying is there are other people who did worse.and i say thats the reason precisely why he is elected.because he claimed that hes better than others.you say its just 6 crores.i say its not about money its about honest getting punished and defaulters getting rewarded.you say the money enters back in to the system and so the manner in which it is spent doesnt matter.i say even the manner it is spent and the results achieved are also important.if you are commending him that he released 6 crores in to the system then congress spent 1000s of crores in such populist schemes and released money in to the system.i dont see how he is different from them.

Then this

Kejriwal may continue to live in his present house - The Times of India

Rakhi Sawant of Politics Mr. Kejriwal is now rumored to Fight Modi if he fight LS seat outside Gujarat................

I have maintained these points consistently since the very beginning of AAP formation:

1. Kejriwal only wants to remain in limelight, & fighting LS against modi will give him EXACTLY that.
2. Kejriwal only wants to cash in the anti-congress sentiment, he will just result (if that happens) in an unstable govt. formation at center because of fractured mandate.
3. AAP - Team B of Congress.

I don't know what this man wants to do, he had comfortable majority in Delhi, lead a DRAMA of 49 days, resigned as CM, dissolved the assembly, now he wants to run for LS elections??

"Ghar toh sambhla nhi....chaley duniya jeetney"

EDIT: Just wanted to point out - Mr. Bush "Either you are with us, or with the terrorist"
Mr. Kejriwal "Either you are with us, or with the corrupts"

How Similar...........!!
