Arunachal MP urges security on eastern front

ITANAGAR: Lok Sabha member from Arunachal Pradesh Takam Sanjoy has stressed on the need to strengthen the country's easternmost sector by deploying more defence forces in Arunachal Pradesh which shares border with China .

"India should strengthen its defence base in Arunachal which is strategically sensitive and under constant threats from across the border," Sanjoy said while inaugurating three-day Arunachal Panorama, the annual festival of diversity at Rajiv Gandhi University at Doimukh near here last night.

"Our borders have been protected by our forefathers for a long time but due to technological differences in this modern world, things need to be changed," he said.

The indigenous cultures are loosing their identity due to the global technological fantasy which should be checked, Sanjoy said and called upon the people to guard age-old rich cultures.

What do you mean... it is an internal Indian security issue.....just like China takes steps to protect her borders in Tibet which is an internal matter of China, India must do like wise. There is a lot of work that needs to be done in India, and this government official is making it known that more needs to be done. If you read from other sources, all borders need to be developed with proper infrastructure. This has nothing to do with China....we Indians really don't care about China. Our media and gov't may make a big issue but the ppl don;t care. I mean your economy is doing great and that is an area the whole developing world envies but besides that we are happy with life in India...

Yes it has everything to do with China....the people of Arunachal hates you the most... i mean no one in India hate you guys (i have few chinese friends) except people from Arunachal....we are just concerned because of the huge military and missile and aircraft build up on your side along the border which is normal and these stuffs are taken as precautions...

I don't care....of course the border has to do with China as any border takes into account the country that it borders like US- Mexico......The problem is that write English the same way you speak it.....Extremely Poor.....The point is that ppl of india don;t care about China ....we only care about India and we will do everything to make it great!
