Arrested ISIL militant says Turkey territory still used by terrorists

A member of the ISIL terrorist group arrested by the Iraqi troops has confessed that the Turkish territory is still used by militants as the main route into Syria.

The 18-year-old Hamad al-Tamimi says he was recruited online by ISIL when he was a religious studies student in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Tamimi, who was arrested by Iraqi troops during a military operation in Iraq’s western province of al-Anbar, said that he left Saudi Arabia for Kuwait in July and from there he moved to Turkey before joining the ISIL Takfiri militants operating in Syria.

Tamimi is known by his nom de guerre as Abu Walid.

“There are many nationalities,” CNN quoted him as saying. “From Norway, from America, Canada, Somalia, Korea, China, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Lebanon and other European countries such as Germany and France,” Tamimi stated.

A CIA source said more than 15,000 militants from 80 countries are operating in Syria and Iraq.
“From Germany, I knew Abu Hamza, and from Britain one named Abu Dawoud, and from America one named Abu Ibrahim,” Tamimi said, adding that all the individuals were young.

The Saudi national said he had to swear allegiance to the so-called ISIL leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, after 22 days at a religious indoctrination camp.

He added that he received military training at an air base in the Syrian city of Raqqa.
Tamimi said after a short time spent in Aleppo, northwestern Syria, the order came to move across the essentially nonexistent border into Iraq, where ISIL militants operating against Iraqi forces near the Haditha Dam needed reinforcement.

The ISIL terrorists are in control of some areas in Syria and have captured large swathes of land in neighboring Iraq.

They are notorious for carrying out horrific acts of violence, including beheading the captives, in the areas they have overtaken.

aren't you of turkish descent....

. .
Even the NYTimes reported that Turkey is allowing terrorists to recruit easily in addition to cross the border...

For that matter we can also say that all those exported terrorists from EU, neighboring countries and far east were/are also allowed by their respective govt to organize themselves and travel to the ME while they were on a so-called blacklist. It's only recently Germany, Austria etc started to ban and crack down on isil. And then they complain that Turkey doesnt do enough to stop these terrorists while it's known that there were already lots of smugglers and terrorists crossing Turkish-Syrian/Iraqi border, this is nothing new. More like western bashing due Turkey trying to look after its own interests, they cant stand this attitude from Turkey.

Did you have any doubts ?!!!

because its press tv, unreliable.

Though in the vid the Saudi kid said he traveled to Kuwait, then to Istanbul or Ankara ( dont rememb ) by flight, then to Gaziantep and into Syria.

So this article isn't false.

Similar report from a reliable source

Turkey is led by the AKP Muslim brotherhood, Qatar is known of it's terror support as the German minister said so what is there to doubt, either the Syrian-Turkish border is unsecured and people can pass or the government is giving border guards instructions to let them enter.

Many video's have shown information and confirmations to draw such conclusion.

Soldiers arresting, clashing with smugglers everyday. But it not easy to control a 730 km border. Smuggling is hurting our economy and existed way before Syrian civil war.

There are villages in the border and all of the villagers are in smuggling business. They mainly smuggle Tea, Cigarettes and Gas. They came in groups of 100,200,500 even with 2000 people.

But it is true that Government is not fighting seriously.. not now, not before.

That said Turkish Air Force once hit smugglers by mistaking them with a terrorist group (Inside Iraq)

Ohh..... all the hell break lose, people called it "Roboski Massacre" and government had been harshly criticized.

I mean even ECHR condemned us.

So;
- If border has been crossed by smugglers it is fine.
- If we kill smugglers who are illegally entering Turkey (with weapons), bad Turkey.
- If we don't kill smugglers which are carrying ISIS goods, bad Turkey.

Come figure out...

Also they are condemning us because jihadist guys cross the border and join ISIS. So, why no western country take precautions and stop these Jihadist freaks before they came to Turkey ?? Arrest them in your own country, for gods sake...

No, it is our fault also. :disagree:

When do you ever kill 1 zionist ISIS?
You've indeed made 1 or 2 arrests during the last 3 years. But it was about 5 or 6 Al Qaeda
It hides your key role in zionist ISIS invasion of Syria

JEW NATO are really a satanic organization, it seems like they use lies in a massive scale.
Creating Al Qaeda and fake the airstrikes against them...

the kid in the video also said that a local in Gaziantep helped him, so they know which routes to take to enter. Some parts of the Syrian-Turkish border are mountainous and have forest terrain making it hard to stop smugglers, especially at night.

Yeah.... as if there is no smuggling in any other country and it only occurs in Turkey. :disagree:

Haha. Didnt take long for the turks to willfully deny reality as usual. Its funny all the cognitive disonance going on in this thread. Come on turks. Its one thing to be nationalist. Its another thing to be a stupid retard.
