ARMY CHIEF LAUDS ROLE OF ISPR AS AN INSTITUTION

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the office of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in Rawalpindi today.

According to ISPR, the outgoing Director General Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa, briefed the army chief on the role and function of the institutions.

Army Chief appreciated the role of ISPR as an institution. He also interacted with Officers and staff.

Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar, Vice Chief of General Staff Major General Azhar Saleh, and Director General designate ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor were also present.

no, its awam that takes control of their gov but in Pakistan its the otherway around I say this because there are elections held hypothetically. Now you can put angles or malaika there but the nation being the way it is will only see things in black and white. there needs to be sense and sensibility which requires education and education receives how much from the budget? heck even the educated are jahil sadly.

every time I am there you will hear complaints about the lack of governance, for most they will do juggat open their mouth display their teeth and move on. anywhere else in the world people show their dislike and come out onto the streets in force.

Though people think that COAS Gen. QJB has been hand picked by NS himself, he is already the worst person in NS's books. COAS will do what his institution has to do and he will appreciate all of them for their work. RS has already raised bar so army and the nation expect the current COAS to do the same or even more.

I remember when RS became COAS there were some concerns that Gen Haroon should have been COAS! But RS proved his worth. mian ji cares little for national interests as mian ji needs pand and merasi however Army is an institution and not one man show something mian ji will never grasp!

The police / law enforcement agencies of Pakistan need to become independent from any political party influence. The police should be the first line of defence in the cities towns and villages of every province of Pakistan whilst the military focuses to secure the western and south western border.

ISPR is doing great job since past few years, I think Gen. Asim was best as DG ISPR .. hope so new DG would be as good as him
