RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Monday arrived in Germany on one day official visit.

According to ISPR, the army chief will address participants of Central & South Asia Security Conference in Munich city.

On Sunday, General Rashad Mahmood, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee arrived in US on official visit to attend ‘2015 Chiefs of Defence (CHOD) Conference’ in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The focus of the conference, which is being attended by military leadership of more than 20 countries, will be on ‘Addressing Shared Security Challenges and Ensuring Access to the Global Commons’, ISPR said in a statement.

Besides attending the conference, CJCSC will also carry out bilateral meetings with CHODs of different countries.

I am pretty sure he is doing it on his every visits.

This is a good opportunity for Pakistan to improve defence ties with Germany.

RAWALPINDI:- Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has reached Munich, Germany on a one-day official visit. According to ISPR here on Monday, the COAS will attend and address participants of Central and South Asia Security Conference. The COAS’ visit to Germany comes just a day after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the sidelines of the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly.–APP
Merkel appreciated progress made by Pakistan in its efforts to counter terrorism and acknowledged the country’s contribution towards regional peace and stability.
