George Galloway replying to an Israeli student: Are you an Israeli? I do not recognize Israel. I don’t debate with Israelis.”

Well done Mr. Galloway! Wish the Western and Arab statesmen had a bit of courage and boldness you have!

. .
Expected from a Muslim convert,

u can always count on the neo converts to shout more on things like sharia, ummah, khilafat etc ..
 and your source? Yea I see him eagerly wanting to be accepted:

In April 2012, Jemima Khan interviewed Galloway for the New Statesman magazine. In the article, Khan asserted that the politician had become a Muslim around 2000, but had not advertised this fact. Galloway subsequently denied that the ceremony had taken place: "I have never attended any such ceremony in Kilburn, Karachi or Kathmandu. It is simply and categorically untrue." He does not answer questions about his religious beliefs saying that this is a "personal matter".

God are Indians that blind from hate? That they are willing to malign anyone who stands up against Israel? Amazing!

Just a politician earning his bread and butter
Yea by being brave enough not to nod and be misled? Wow...When the world is supporting Israel....or is silent about it and he being on the other end of the spectrum...yea I see him wining his bread!

New Statesman | Exclusive: George Galloway's conversion to Islam

George Galloway, MP for Bradford West, is a Muslim. He converted more than ten years ago in a ceremony at a hotel in Kilburn, north-west London, attended by members of the Muslim Association of Great Britain. Those close to him know this. The rest of the world, including his Muslim constituents, does not.

Update, 14.30

George Galloway has released a statement about the interview. The New Statesman responds:

“It is notable that Galloway does not deny being a Muslim convert – and he did not deny it when it was put to him at the time of the interview, which is on tape. Contrary to his press release, nor did he deny that the ceremony took place when it was put to him during the interview. This is also on tape. Furthermore, he failed to clarify how, by his own admission, he had a 'nikah' (a Muslim marriage ceremony), despite the fact that a non-Muslim man cannot marry a Muslim woman under Islamic law. As for calling his 'secretary' his 'special adviser', this is how she asked to be described in an email to Jemima Khan."

Lol he is a Muslim bro, his last three wife are all Muslims, its no coincidence that he happens to host shows on Press TV and hates Israel

From 1979 to 1999, he was married to Elaine Fyffe, with whom he has a daughter, Lucy, who herself has four children.[212] The couple separated in 1987 and divorced in 1999.[28] In 1994, he married Dr Amineh Abu-Zayyad in a Muslim ceremony; a civil ceremony around 2000 followed his divorce from Fyffe. Abu-Zayyad was granted a "quicky" divorce at the beginning of 2009, after an estrangement of several years, on the grounds of "unreasonable behaviour".[220] Galloway's third wife was his Lebanese former researcher, Rima Husseini.[28] They had two sons, born in May 2007 and December 2011. In March 2012, Galloway married his fourth wife, Putri Gayatri Pertiwi, a consultant with a Dutch research firm[221] in an Islamic ceremony in Amsterdam.[222] The couple announced in January 2014 that they are expecting their first child.[212]

By his own account, he decided, at the age of 18, never to drink alcohol. He disapproves of it and describes it as having a "very deleterious effect on people".[12][223] He stated at a March 2012 rally "We stand for justice and haqq" and "A Muslim is somebody who is not afraid of earthly power but who fears only the Judgment Day. I’m ready for that, I’m working for that and it's the only thing I fear".[224]
