Daesh started its campaign to retake Palmyra from Assad 4 days ago, probably no one thought Daesh will easily control Palmyra as it already did. It also captured big parts of the surrounding of the ancient city without facing any major clash or resistance from Russians, Iranians and their terrorist allies.
Daesh entered the city just in 4 days of its campaign and seized according to many sources more than 30 tanks, 6 BMBs, many machine guns and unknown number of grad rockets so far.
How comes a terror group like Daesh controls a city while it's losing on all other fronts?
These weapons were like a low hanging fruit for Daesh, they even approached toward another military base 60 km away from Palmyra after they took these tanks and weapons from their friends in Russia.
According to Turkey Security official: ISIS has seized plenty of MANPADS left behind by SAA after the fall of Palmyra yesterday.
That's should be sufficient to explain the long honeymoon between Russia/Iran and Daesh.
