Now with anti-India democrats in control, India cannot go back to Russia and China either as they no longer trust India.

India should have remained non-aligned instead of trying to ally with the US.

He has a point with regard to China. Only reason Modi was able to talk back to China was because Trump kept them busy in Pacific and economy. Biden will look to appease them to make amends and one of those appeasement tactics will be to leave India out to dry.

The senate is still Republican, nothing of the sort will pass and Biden is unlikely to sign off on executive orders sanctioning India for CAA or Kashmir. That's just laughable.

Trump's also been very neutral on the India Pak conflict, not overtly taken sides and antagonized the other (because Afghanistan obviously) but they've been balanced diplomatically, the traditional hands off approach to the conflict.

With Biden, back to traditional diplomacy and statecraft.

India has a standing of its own. It is not a stooge of any country such that a regime change there could be either be a lottery ticket or a catastrophe for India. Trump or Biden, its going to be give some, take some. What major thing did Trump exactly do for India (except sharing stage in Houston during Howdy Modi)? Nothing. Similarly, do not expect anything drastically different (good or bad) from Biden either. Between the two, Trump may be a tad better for India. May be. and, just a tad.
