UPA government was cautious in engaging with the US but when Modi won in 2014 he turned Indian policy greatly towards the US.

He signed all 3 foundational agreements with in a span of couple of years.

Now with Trump presidency gone, India stares at a very antagonistic Biden administration which is poised to enforce crippling sanctions on India from CAASTA to Kashmir to CAA and many more.

Is it too late for India to go back to Russia and China?

I do not think Russia and China trust India any longer.

India is truly between a rock and hard place.

Modi has truly messed up Indian foreign policy.

When did Biden say he would sanction India? He chose Kamala as his running mate.

Do you want to know how anti-India Kamala Harris or Pramila Jayapal are? They will put Obama, Clinton and Biden to shame with regards to their anti-Indian policies.

When Vishu Som asked Kamala's uncle on her Indian roots, He said what roots? Kamala is not a tree to have roots before saying She grew up in a black neighborhood implying that she does not associate herself with India.

Just wait and see. Whether Trump or Biden, matters of geopolitical interests are decided by deep state. Biden is in support of H1B visas and values the contributions of Indian community as well as friendship with India. What politicans say are always in relation to what their voting base wants to hear at the time and how they can distinguish themselves from their opponents.

You're saying all this but have no evidence. I don't think either of them have said anything but positive things about India.

It is not just words.

Do you know Pramila Jayapal introduced a resolution on Kashmir in US Congress and Kalama Harris strongly supported her act?

With the arrival of Biden administration the concept of Indo-Pacific and QUAD are dead on arrival.

India should try to mend her ties with China and try improve her ties with Russia.

India's future is very bleak.

LOL. US politicians, like any other politicians cater to their Vote bank

But National policy is largely a Bipartisan topic and Democrats and Republicans will follow the same line irrespective of who is in power.

The same way there is no change in Indian govt. policy irrespective of who is in power, CONgress or BJP.

If what you say is true that is a problem. India future looks pretty bleak.

There is big difference in policies between Democrats and Republicans just like there is a big difference in policies of Congress and BJP.

Democrats are big on Sanctions while Republicans are big on Business.

Congress is non-aligned while BJP is pro-west.

US Democrats + Indian BJP is a disaster in making for India.

since when does making pro-justice noises equate to being anti-injun? in any case be it Biden, obummer kamla or trump at the end of the day they will all do what they are advised (told) to do by the establishment
There is big difference in policies between Democrats and Republicans
only in domestic matters when it concerns dominating/robbing overseas both are on the same page

Atleast America had 2 options going into November 3rd date.

India does not have that luxury with Modi.

Just like the USSR, India does not have a strong national level leadership in its time of need.

Yes. Democrats will not relent until India gives up her claim on Kashmir. Modi may relent and agree to that.

Democrats favor an Independent Kashmir as a buffer between India, China, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

But what do Kashmiris want themselves?

Joining Pakistan for Kashmiris is a matter of their secured existence.

A landlocked country sandwiched between developing countries is not a situation they would want to be unless WATER is brought to the equation.
