I am quite curious to indulge in this topic. I have observed a certain bias towards Arabs in this Pakistani forum.

What do you think is the key driving factor towards this?

Thanks.

.
Pakistanis, by and large don't have any bias towards Arabs.

Yemen crisis, years back, saw well planned campaign by Iranian propaganda machine to manipulate Pakistanis against Arabs, in particular KSA....

I think, now, Pakistanis favor KSA or Arabs because they are our very important partner strategically and also the mask of Iran as a friendly well wisher of Pakistan has been unveiled....

We know who is good for Pakistan and who is just pretending to be

Pakistani and Arab relation is akin to slave master relationship. Give your best shot if you think I'm wrong.

How do you define Pak-British ties then if i may ask?

The bias is not due to some uber nationalist views. The bias is simply religious and sometimes racial in nature. Arabs do not follow the ritualistic version of Islam, traditional in nature which is prevalent in Pakistan. Couple that with propaganda of persian saints who have promised greater things for people of indus when turks, farsi and uzbeks flock for jihad.

Pakistanis are masters of projecting their own short comings and failures unto others. Hence, when you see a a Pakistani talking ignorant about Arabs or any other race, religion or nationality, most of the time they are just projecting their own short comings.

Yeah, most Arabs tend to think of this as Haram. Although, now with the advent of secularism this happens more in countries like Jordan.

I am not debating the validity of it. But only saying there is a difference here which may manifest some sort of bias

slave- master...I think under slavery the slave isnt paid...But we all know Pakistan is paid in huge sums....ESP every time we are in trouble.

Not sure which master does that for his "slave"

Many Pakistanis believe that the Saudis have sponsored extremism/extremists in Pakistan (and worldwide) and they hold Saudis partly responsible for the ongoing terrorism/WoT in Pakistan.

Then there are those who are biased towards Arabs in general (and Saudis in specific) because of their sectarian affiliations.

And then there are those also who are not happy with the way Saudis treat/consider Bakistanis.

Regardless, the Saudis have been an ally to Pakistan and they have stood by Pakistan in times of need.

What songs? If you are referring to naats then the proper terminology should be hymns. I don't think that is specific to Pakistan and are also sung by Arabs. What parades and "stuff"?
I have never heard an Arab singing a Hymn.
I have seen Turks and Chechens doing Thikr in a circle singing. Which from my Islamic teachers is haram but...

Standalone statements cannot be taken as reflective of overall mindsets.. a comment on extremist funded by GCC or Iran cannot be taken as blanket opinions by everyone.
There are general bias against one party or the other but for the most its a case by case dismissive or appreciative statements.
