I want to know the good and appreciable policies of Zardari's government.

At least two long term and two short term policies, which are good and should or may be continue in future as well.

please reply, I need help in this regard.

waiting.........

doubling the national dept seeling the whole country what more you want from them?

1- The political reforms in Gilgit/Baltistan, Kashmir and FATA probably.

2- Keeping power to himself, and keeping the army in its premises, saved democracy that way

3- and short term BISP to attract the voters.

4- keeping the so called opposition party PMLN in his pocket as a coin to use. and keeping the coalition parties together.

5- bringing PML-Q with them.

6- and fighting against all the odds hurled against his person with grace, didnt stooge low to the level of nonsense spread against him by nooners and insafians, mainly punjabis.

Well said, @Leader.

I will add some here:

1) Establishing a culture of 'live and let live' where all parties who gained enough votes are allowed power in various places. This probably the BIGGEST achievement of Zardari. Anyone who has followed Pakistani politics from 1947 onward must know how the vicious and uncompromising attitudes of politicians (and Generals-turned-politicians) has harmed Pakistan.
2) No political machinations like those of the past. Lotacracy is much less acceptable and much more despised then, say, in the 2000's.
3) A consensus based 18th Constitution Amendment which is the largest piece of legislation since the 1973 Constitution.
4) However weak a response but Zardari led PPP govt. and it's allies still stood out against the Blasphemy Law. They tried to be more pro-minorities. They also clearly stood against the Talibans and other religious extremist.
5) While Musharraf may have initiated larger participation of women in the parliament PPP has given many seats to women and allowed greater role for women in public affairs.
6) Media and Judiciary remain the free-er than ever before. Even if they can't be 'contained' in this age the govt. has not overly involved itself against these two institutions.

he delegated power from President to Prime minister office, though practically as the leader of the PPP, he remained most powerful but still no one has ever reduced his own power, everyone in the past have always gathered power around themselves, he did otherwise..

his best quality is his ability to keep everyone guessing :D
