APML’s Barrister Saif joins MQM

KARACHI: The former federal minister and secretary general of Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has announced to join the Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
He announced this on Sunday in a press conference at the MQM’s headquarter Nine Zero and expressed full confidence in the leadership of Altaf Hussain, his policies and politics.The former law minister said that he had joined the MQM because this was a party which believed in democracy and services to the poor. It always raised voice for the poor and peasants and struggled for the rule of law.
MQM leaders Dr Farooq Sattar, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqi, Amir Khan, Aminul Haq and others were also present on the occasion. The party workers welcomed the former federal minister warmly at the Nine Zero on his arrival.
