I know many Kashmiris in real life who are from Azad Kashmir, but never met any from Jammu Kashmir region, if there is any one who is actually living there or belongs to the region but living abroad, please respond. I have few questions that I need to ask, would like to know first hand information.

Pls ask in Koshur. :D
Is that the language you speak? I don't know it lol

But I just wanted to know how much army is deployed in the region, I can't find the number on the internet, what proportion of army would you say is present there? This is a very straight question, i'm not trying to pick fights lol

I don't mind anything. :D

Yeah, that's our language. Army is now only at the front. They also man the highway posts that go through all cities in the valley. Numbers should be about a quarter of the Pakistani estimate of 800,000. But there is CRPF and JnK Police. Their numbers should add another 100k.

Thanks for the figures. Another question I have is about curfews, do you still have them if so whats the purpose? This is based on online videos I have seen, and I dont want to presume things, so asking a native.

Yup, we do have curfews frequently. But that's in the towns. Lot of educated young males in the valley wish to do things that can't be allowed.

Thanks for the figures.
They are speculative. No one can be sure. I would not have divulged it otherwise. Your intel agencies know the right figures. They have a good network here in India, though not as good as we now have built in yours. :D

So I take 800k is correct figure, thats huge for such a small region. I know you can't be unbiased in this matter, but do muslims get special treatment by the local police? There was an article in tribune Pakistan, where a delhi based kashmiri dude wrote about his incident, I have little or no knowledge on this matter but we see similar things happen to palestinians by the hands of israeli forces, and people usually compare it with Kashmir, do you feel such comparisons are just? Do you being a Hindu, see fellow non Hindu Kashmiris as being treated fairly/unfairely?

800k is the value fed to you. Your Intel agencies know a more correct figure. Else they would not have tried to take Kargil.
Comparisons are just. The Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs and the Shias are the Palestinians here. Don't believe it? Come and stay for one month. You will know.

I didn't know police forces and military was Muslim...
