A 49 year old medical shop owner cum social activist, who wrote a book on why cow slaughter should be banned, was badly beaten up by a mob outside a government school in Chandra layout, West Bangalore on Wednesday noon.
Mob also attacked his friend and car driver and all the three has been shifted to Colombia Asia hospital in Yeshwanthapur and their condition is normal, police said.
Victims are Mahendra Munnot, who owns 'Maruti Medicals' in Vijayanagar, his friend Rajesh Rai and car driver Upendra. The incident took place around 12 noon when Mahendra and others were distributing books to school children on why cow slaughter should be stoped. The book is written by Mahendra himself.
