I thought the delay was for biometric system.

If the elections were to happen without it anyway, why not hold in within the first 90 days, as Imran khan had promised? What a crucial waste of time.

And now that we have waited for so long for the system, they change their mind. I think they should wait few more months and still opt for biometric system. A few months wait for the term is worth it considering the elected will be in office for years to come.

For your information IK is trying his best to hold LB elections while Election Commission is not letting it happen you should first research it. After coming in power in KPK khan added biometric system in KPK and polling in byelections were done by biometric system that's why nobody says that there were rigging in byelections in KPK. The cost of purchasing Biometric system is 150 Crore which the federal government should buy it's not the responsibility of provincial government to purchase it. And for your Kind information Federal Government has to pay 15,000 Crore ($1.5 Billion) of KPK government which they are not paying then why should KPK government spend more 150 crore? Khan said to hold LB elections without biometric system because the ECP is trying to make another drama of biometric system to let KPK not do LB elections and waste a couple of few months so that the other provincial assemblies can get more time to not hold LB elections. First research about it and then post. It was IK who first said that the elections should be held with Biometric system not any other party leader.

ECP has delayed the process thus far and since the matter is purely in hands of PMLN to release funds to ECP, so its a strategic move.

this is why issues should not be made political, PMLN and OP at fault again, like always !

Its not that you were supporting PTI and Imran on election reforms which includes biometric system as well. So let me ask you what exactly is the U turn in it for you?
