MQM chief appreciates Punjab governor’s role in allowing revolution march
LONDON: Appreciating Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain said that he played the role that of an angel in making understanding between PTI, PAT and the government. Altaf Hussain said he was in continuous touch with Punjab and Sindh governors to normalize current political tension. The MQM chief also said that he personally talked to Dr Tahirul Qadri in this regard. He told Qadri to understand the sensitivity of the situation, especially when the Army is fighting a war against terrorism. Earlier, Sarwar talking to Samaa said PTI and PAT have agreed that they will only march up till Zero Point and not head towards Constitutional Avenue in Islamabad.

MULTAN: President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Javed Hashmi Sunday claimed that Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar was also present in the meeting of PTI Chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PAT) leader Tahirul Qadri in London.

Javed Hashmi said this while addressing a press conference here at his residence, hours after PTI staged a rally in Karachi.

However, Javed Hashmi’s claim was categorically refuted by Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar. “If my presence is proved in the meeting of Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri, I will quit politics,” he said.

Chaudhry Sarwar said he is a son of a common man and denied having ever engaged in politics of conspiracies.
He also denied reports of quitting as Governor Punjab and added that presently he was engaged in raising funds in Germany for the affectees of widespread floods in Pakistan.

Javed Hashmi further said that PTI Vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi made inappropriate remarks against him in Karachi rally.

“I have my own thinking while Imran Khan has a completely different mindset but Shah Mehmood Qureshi doesn’t have any viewpoint at all,” he observed.

Altaf for technocrat govt for two years

LONDON (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has proposed technocrat government in Pakistan for a period of two years.

He was talking to media along with Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar who called on him at the MQM secretariat in London on Monday.

Altaf Hussain said that the formation of technocrat government is the need of the hour to carry out an across-the-board and ruthless accountability. He further said that Pakistan needs honest people like Chaudhry Sarwar.

He said the issue of Islamabad sit-ins should be resolved on give and take basis through meaningful dialogues and urged both sides to offer face-saving to each others.

Also speaking on the occasion, Ch Sarwar urged all political parties to come forward for the assistance of IDPs of North Waziristan and the masses affected by floods in Punjab and Sindh.

Earlier, Governor Punjab Ch Muhammad Sarwar called on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain at the MQM secretariat in London on Monday.

Chaudhry Sarwar was received by members of MQM Rabita Committee Babar Ghauri and Faisal Sabzwari on his arrival at the MQM secretariat.

Governor Punjab Ch Sarwar and MQM chief Altaf Hussain held a one-on-one meeting which lasted of over 20 minutes. Both the leaders discussed current political situation in the country during the meeting.
