What puzzling is that while the new Audio releases are done current week how did Maryem Nawaz was planning to exit Pakistan 2-3 weeks ago

She must have known in advance about the Leaks

If the conversation of the COAS or any military official comes in, then we can rule out any military involvement and that would be when shit hits the fan.

Recent documents reveal Modi Government used Pegasus against the opposition as [Pegasus was purchased from Israel as a part of a defense package. So I was wondering what kind of information they'd have on our Politicians and Establishment considering the extremely poor level of cyber security measures in place.

Depending on the content of the leaks, we will have a fair idea of who is behind this.

If it is still N centric, and the purported conversations of military officials and COAS paint them in a good light, then well know who this is. The facade was to maintain plausible deniability. And the beneficiary you may ask? PPP. I wrote a post about this a couple months back too.

If the estab is also dragged through the mud in the leaks though, then all hell breaks loose and we have a very serious security flaw/leak, either at the PMO or at the data storage facility.

If it is a data leak from storage, then the question to ask is, why the heck was it even being recorded in the first place?

True, high end software don’t require access to target device.

Pegasus is govt level high end software for wealthy clients. Level of cyber and network security is so low in Pakistan that any commercially available software will do the job. Imagine the level of softwares develop by govts for their classified use. No electronic device, software or hardware is save from them.

CIA /NSA has recording from Jamal Kasoghi Apple Watch while he was murdered. Which mean CIA / NSA was tracking and recording everything Jamal kasoghi was doing in their vast data centers.

Only solution is to develop your own smart phone O/S, or at least develop from bare bones Android.
And lock phones from installing any software except must have ones and only from GOP sites..
Even whatsapp servers are in Israel so one can imagine what they can do.
