RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army shot down another Indian spy quadcopter which intruded across the Line of Control (LoC) into Pakistani territory, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.

The army’s media wing said the Indian spy drone was shot down at Hot Spring Sector along the Line of Control (LOC) for border violation and espionage. The statement read, “The quadcopter had intruded 850 meters on Pakistan’s side of the #LOC. This is 9th Indian quadcopter shot down by Pakistan Army troops this year.”

On June 5, Pakistan Army had shot down another Indian spy quadcopter after it violated Pakistan’s airspace in Khanjar sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in this provocative act, the Indian quadcopter had intruded 500 metres inside Pakistan’s territory.

Pakistan Army troops targeted the Indian spying quadcopter in Khanjar sector along Line of Control (LoC). This was the eighth Indian Quadcopter downed by the Army this year, said the ISPR.

One can say that IA is incapable of flying these simple drones. Why don't they move this deadly and lethal force of these Quadcopter to Laddakh where it is needed the most. It can be used to find their drowned soldiers. Let Chinese have some fun.

.
In 2017 we sent quadcopters/UAVs across LoC more than 66 times as per Pakistanis themselves. Only 3 were lost which means we have a success rate of 96%.

Using the same % rate, we have sent quadcopters across LoC over 200 times this year and only 9 times they were lost.

.
This is not a good sign. looks like they are trying to find a weak spot (both in terms of defenses at a specific location and reaction time of the forces), and will try something serious when they find what they are looking for. These drones are cheap and expendable, but the information they may have relayed back to IA may have serious repercussions in the future.

this isnt a simple regression task, detection may have improved.

and the LOC crossings may have dropped.

Or it could be opposite. Evasion techniques may have improved.
And LoC crossings may have risen exponentially especially since LoC cross fire has also increased a lot since 2017.

Pakistan should allow Indian drones to be "successful'
at certain areas.

.
Pakistan needs an anti-drone weapon, which would be a far better choice for taking these birds down than trying to make duck shots out of them. Just saying.

Indians are wasting so many, yaar give me 1 I want Quad copter so badly for making cinematic videos :( why waste it on LOC, send one to me...
