To ALL on this thread bashing PA I would humbly like to point out that I can not challenge your grievances but my thought process works like this ... I also see ALL short comings, misunderstandings etc but then if I pause and think for a moment about who have stopped Pakistan to NOT become the next Libya, Iraq and Syria etc ... ALL my anger goes away and moreover the countless precious lives of young soldiers have no meaning??? while most of us sit in our cozy homes ...

Look, have a no nonsense policy as far as the ANA goes. They are not allowed to cross over into Pakistan. Let talibs take care of them. ANA, NDS are sworn enemies of Pakistan, treat them as such.
As far as the refugees go, carve out a chunk of bordering afghan areas and put them there, and let UN take care of them.
For those afghan refugees who came here during last fifty years. They are welcome to stay if they pledge their allegiance to the Pakistani state. Any afghan found to be undermining the territorial integrity of Pakistan, first confiscate their property and block their bank accounts, then throw them in jail, before they are finally sent back with their family to their god forsaken homeland.

I concur but at the same time I am pretty sure that the actions taken by PA were taken after "careful deliberation" from the chain of command including the Pakistani Govt.

Unfortunately, we are not a nation that carefully deliberates any issues. Everything is on ad hoc basis. We are more of a one call nation, if you know what I mean.
