Nope Hamid Mir lied the call was never from French president but from French embassy to set up a time. Hamid Mir is a liar. I have post the image of the call in the previous thread and Hamid Mir was not there in the meeting just trying to get noted for being left out. Fake News by Hamid Mir.

Aren't you loosing credibility by alleging he was not present in the meeting. He alongwith Rauf Klasra and Arshad Sharif appeared on Breaking Views with Malick on 92 news channel and all three of them said they were present in the meeting and everyone agreed that there was something about a call from French President and Imran Khan opting to continue to sit in the journalist's meet. You can watch Friday's Breaking Views with Malick news program to confirm all this.

I never saw Hamid Mir in the photo shoot that is why I said and French president never called. So hope this restores my credibility and damages Hamid Mir now in your views? I am not against Hamid Mir just that this tweet was wrong of him because the news now states other wise.

Actually the journalists (not only Hamid Mir) say that IK said it’s just a congratulatory call anyway and nothing more, not like they had anything serious to discuss. I found that extraordinarily undiplomatic on the part of IK saying that to journalists who promptly either put it on Twitter or talk about it on tv. Amateur hour all around..!

As per my info, it is not the fault of Hamid Mir...rather...it seems Tahmina Janjua created misunderstanding. However no one was so eager or quick to tweet than Hamid Mir. He should have confirmed it before tweeting.

Man other also reported the same...like even Dr. Shahid, Rauf Klasra so definitely some misunderstanding was created there however, none of them made an tweet in English and tagged the French president. Hamid Mir should have confirmed it before tweeting it since she did not make a press conference about rather she came to ask PM for the call.

The call was from French embassy and the picture of conference shows Hamid Mir was not there so he jumped to quick and reported the news.

@war&peace media is seriously losing credibility. Media is desperate to find a controversy but this desperation is making them lose credibility.

Other day that lifafaism gul bhukari said the state department of US has sent the transcript of pompeo call to Pakistan now the state department of USA never issues transcripts these journalists don't even know the regular protocols that govt officers follow and they make up stories.
