This event shows the dilemna India is faced with. Hindutva terrorism is a major problem and is on the rise... yet will a Hindutva party like the BJP ever take action against these people? As I said India has never had the sheer willpower to deal with Hindutva terrorists. They are the loyal pets India maintains to be used against Muslims if they step out of line.

The problem with Indian Hindus is that they believe they are better than Pakistan in regards of protecting minorities yet don't realize how radical they are and how the entire Indian system including the cow slaughter ban favors a certain class and group of people-not a minority. No one leaves his city without reason. My parents saw it fit to leave Lucknow because of this type of protection and defence of Hindutva militants. I sympathize with the independence seeking Hyderabadis when they say dozens of Muslims were killed and burned alive outside the Andhra Pradesh high court yet no action was taken against the Hindutvas. Families that took the cases to court were told to go to Pakistan-exactly what they did.

India has to get off its high horse and its haughty attitude and the untrue belief that they treat minorities well or see treatment of minorities from the prism of how Pakistan treats them. Pakistan was highjacked by mullahs, India was supposed to be a secular country. If Indians can't see the difference and only have the excuse of Pakistan does so and so, so we can kill minorities then I pity them.

The beef ban is the very first step in dictating muslims how to live in India. Instead of making Halal food more widely available these bans are being introduced which attack us Lucknowis basic rights.

Minorities are targeted in India constantly. As I said Indians are so concerned about how Pakistan treats minorities they forget how they treat minorities themselves. I am glad my parents and grandparents decided to move and refused to take this rubbish from the Hindutvas.
