Afghan Suicide Bomb Kills 12, Including Three American Contractors

At least 12 people, including three American contractors, were killed Saturday when a suicide car bomber attacked a NATO convoy in Afghanistan's capital. Dozens of people were also wounded.

The Taliban denied it was behind the Kabul attack. Wahidullah Mayar, a Health Ministry spokesman, told the Associated Press that 66 people were wounded in the attack in the crowded Macrorayan neighborhood.

In a statement, NATO said three civilian contractors had been killed, one instantly, and two of wounds sustained from the bombing, which happened at about 4:20 p.m. local time.

While no group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, the Taliban has stepped up it assaults on Afghan security forces since the U.S. and NATO ended their combat mission. Earlier this month, a Taliban attack near Kabul's airport killed an American soldier and eight Afghan contractors.

Saturday's attack destroyed at least one armored vehicle in the convoy.

Indians are jumping up and down to sabotage Afghanistan peace process. Pakistan wants peace in Afghanistan so that in the case of Indian aggression, it would fully concentrate on the Eastern Border.

That is in Indian interest that terrorism, unrest and uncertainty would prevail in Afghanistan as it would keep Pakistan busy on the both borders as it has been for at least a decade. It is in our interest to let Afghanistan settle down and see an era of peace. We don't have a plan against Afghanistan if it is peaceful and non-hostile towards Pakistan.

RIP to the dead. Its sad. Time to take out the Haqqani's ourselves if Afghanistan or Pakistan don't do it. I thought these idiots were a few hundred and hiding under Taliban fractions across Afghanistan?

Time to investigate and level the caves where these basterds hide. If they are in Pakistan, Pakistan is about to get a LOT more pressure. Indian lobby's already after them so this would be bad for them. I think time's come for Pakistan to abandon its support and push Haqqani's back into Afghanistan.

Since those killed were civilian contractors we cannot rule out their involvement in black ops and since CIA is moving out it decided to tie loose ends.
Mind you it's not easy taking out an armored vehicle especially made for ambushes such as these.

There are two stark opinions in Afghanistan.. the one that of Northern Alliance and other that of rest of Afghanistan. Northern Alliance who are non-Pashtoons never liked Pakistan and the ones who are Pashtoons have good terms with Pakistan. You being Indians will look towards who talk your tongue.
