Historically in the By-elections, the Govt always wins. But in recent years PMLN defeated PTI in 99% of the elections held in Punjab. Strengthening the notion their mandate was rigged in favour of PTI in 2018.
The inflation factor this time has definitely made it hard for PMLN to sell their choran. Nevertheless, they have deep roots with the masses and the jalsas have been unprecedented. I do see them having an edge at the moment.
