S-400 or any sort of air defense weapon is meant to be defensive purpose, to use it as offensive or you can say hit us within our territory Indian forces have to deploy this close to border which put them under direct threat of battlefield weapons. Even Special Forces can seriously pose risk for those weapons.

In 1971, 90,000 Pakistani militants/troops surrendered to 800,000 Indian troops/Bangladeshi militants. Not to mention the Pakistani's were running out of supplies and had no air or naval support once they surrendered. Them fighting would have been suicide.

They could have resisted for few days in at least defensive position and the US was coming.They lost there MORAL and history created of largest surrender after second world war.

You havn't included the at least 1 million figure of armed bengali insurgents fighting alongside the indian army. Out of that 365,000 of so called "Pakistani troops", at least 250,000 were in fact bengali soldiers who were all switching sides. So the reality is that there were at most 165,000 real Pakistani soldiers (with no supply line) vs 665,000 indian soldiers + at least 1,000,000 armed and well supplied bengali insurgents. Odds thst even the americans and israelis cannot overcome. The indians and bengalis completed encircled us the same way the soviets encircled the German 6th army at stalingrad in 1943.

Resistance was pointless. Whatever the outcome of the war, bangladesh would have eventually been created. Everyone knows it. You cannot form a nation that is seperated from one another by 1000s of kms wherby the people are completely different to one another in terms of culture, heritage, way of life, genetics, physical appearence and race. It is the same reason why Pakistan was created in 1947. On that basis it is way more feasible for Pakistan to form a nation with Iran and Turkey. 2 nations us Pakistanis have far more in common with than bengladesh.
