Analysis: Pakistan relying too much on China against U.S.

Maybe they should go to 'silicon valley' and learn some 'ip spoofing' :P

Oh wait... India's wealth is only for 27% population.. rest of them can barely 'afford' the food :P

On Topic: It is good that Pakistan is taking this matter seriously, and i believe it will be sorted like all times before..

Pakistan-China friendship is stronger then these issues..

Pak - China brotherhood lives , breeds &nd multiply ... :azn: and it phucks the false-propaganda promoters from india and the u.s. ... :smokin: :china: :yahoo: :pakistan:

.
Pakistan needs China more than China needs Pakistan so it does not surprise me they are quickly cooperating with them on this the U.S can only wish it has this kind of cooperation with Pakistan on eradicating terrorists

.
"Pakistan wants to play its own game by creating a front against the United States," said Hasan Askari-Rizvi, an independent political analyst.

"That will not happen. ... Now China has the same complaint which the United States has with Pakistan."

You can not compare whats U.S. wants from Pakistan to what China wants from Pakistan.

Going against the Haqqani/Afghan Taliban will not be in Pakistan's national and strategic interests because these guys are the only Afghans who have power and are friendly towards Pakistan. Pak-Afghan relations were in its lowest when these guys were not in power and when US installed puppet Karzai.

Supporting Uighur separatists are not in Pakistan's interests because China is the only immediate neighbour Pakistan can trust and has no disputes with (other than Iran, although some Pakistanis dont trust Iran), and China is an emerging superpower, it is the most powerful country in Asia and is very friendly to Pakistan.

Having a separate Uighur country out of Xinjiang is only in India's and America's interests. It cuts off China from reaching the warm waters of the Arabian Sea and India's two main rivals wont be connected to each other. Dont forget, Pakistan and China have a common enemy and thats India. Only India will benefit with a Uighur country that will also border India and will be friendly towards India and will be hostile towards Pakistan like present day Afghanistan. The last thing we need is another Afghanistan in our North-East. Pakistan-China border is the most peaceful international border we currently have.

Makes one wonder, who gets the strategic advantage out of destabilizing China-Pakistan border :coffee:

Analysis: Pakistan relying too much on China against U.S. - Yahoo! News

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistan's quick response to charges by China that militants involved in attacks in Xinjiang had trained on its soil shows the importance of its ties with Beijing, but it could be a mistake for Islamabad if it relies too much on China.

Pakistan immediately dispatched Lieutenant-General Ahmed Shuja Pasha, director general of Pakistan's powerful Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) spy agency, to Beijing after Islamic militants mounted a weekend attack that left 11 people dead in the western region of Xinjiang, according to media reports.

While the ISI declined to confirm the trip, Western diplomats and Pakistani analysts agreed that the attacks would likely be at the top of any agenda.

"We cannot allow Pakistani territory to be used for any activities against any neighbor, especially a close ally like China," said Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Chairman of the Pakistan-China Institute.

"There are strong ties between Pakistan and China, and we are cooperating closely on this issue."

Pasha's speedy trip was a clear sign of Pakistan's priorities.

After the Mumbai 26/11 debacle of sending the ISI director to India, looks like they learned the lessons of diplomacy to act immediately to salvage the relationship.

So according to you, who is training the separatists in Uighur country?
India has no access to Uighur country and Xinjiang province of China. We are divided by the terrain. So, logical conclusion is either Afghanistan or Pakistan is training them and arming them.

This should answer your question. U.S. is still in Afghanistan.

Its totally illogical for Pakistan to support the Uighur terrorists while we offer China access to our sea and offer China access to Gwadar Port.

It makes sense for Pakistan to support Kashmiri separatists and Afghan freedom fighters, but not Uighur separatists, why on earth would we want to be cut off from our most reliable and most powerful ally?

I never said that DG ISI was sent to India. I was referring to the diplomatic fallout that happened because first it was announced that he would come to Mumbai and then he was held back by the army. No investigative team was sent nor a judicial probe was done to assuage the grief of 26/11 victims.

ISI is not a part of army its an organisation tht has intel officers frm all service arms.......... and its was the stupid decision of GoP to send him without asking ISI......... And thus he didnt go to india.... It would be like accepting tht ISI was involved in mumbai attacks besides other reasons.GoP offered to send a intel team but indian govt rejected it.

Though we all know about it yet see the irony here...."GOP didn't ask ISI"....

you guys are at wits end .. any body can have a photo session with US president...it does not mean they are sponsoring terrorists. You have to have evidence on the ground to prove that. I am not one of those who fall for conspiracy theories which invariably fall by the wayside when are debunked.

You have a valid point that China is your best friend, why you would harm your neighbor?.. all I can say it that some extremists in your country do not kowtow to your diktats.

ISI is not under the command of interior ministry n rehman faggot malik.Nor such a high ranking guy would be sent to india if a few indians died just to satisfy indian gov n its public.
