I'd say, guns are a symptom of the violence inherent in certain kinds of people.

Some people eagerly commit violence, others prefer to flee (walk away) in an attempt to avoid violence (if possible) and still others will just submit to the abuse and violence.

First, I would not call this "American gun culture" but "gun culture". Where ever you get gun culture and this includes Pakistan the probability of fracas leading to death increases. Simply because a gun is one trigger away from death.

If this event had happened in my home town [UK] most likey fists would have flown and then the two guys would have got puffed, then walked away. Or they might have brought sticks and beaten each other. Worst case a knife might have been used. But even at the upper end of escalation ladder the outcomes would not be as deadly. Each of these weapons has a escalation slope to death.

Now non of these by themselves kill. It is the mind behind each that kills. But don't no person tell me arming every citizen with pistols will lead to higher deaths. Arming all citizens with RPGs will lead to even more deaths.

1) First off this didn’t happen due to “gun culture”... People always make mindless comments before even reading the entire article or knowing the full story... I mean seriously who here actually reads the whole article and then does a double or triple check? I noticed most users don’t and give mindless opinions.

2) These neighbours had been having a feud for years, and this incident here was the boiling point for Spaide (the gunner) as they (the Goys) were literally shovelling snow across the street into his driveway. Basically a minute or so before the video (as I have seen the actual uncut video), the Goys were berating Spaide, the husband even called him “a pussy” and put his fists up in the air, and the wife even said “I will make your life a living hell”... So Spaide having run out of patience after all the years went and gunned them both down, and even after having fun down the woman she was still berating him, and when he put the last bullet in her he said “you should have kept your fucking mouth shut”, thereafter when police arrived he committed suicide. Everyone has a boiling point and that was his, even if he didn’t have a gun it would have been a knife or a machete, he was at that point. Not saying what he did was justified or warranted, he should have moved or even settled it in court, but that’s what it came down to.

3) People are saying this because of guns... uh no this is because of people, guns keep would be dictators in check, a free society can only be kept free through guns, should a dictatorship happen tomorrow you would sheep’s waiting to be slaughtered. It was because of guns that we Afghans destroyed the Soviet invasion/occupation otherwise today our women would be whoring to every Russian that would have come to Kabul. It is because of guns that we are kicking out the American occupation, and it is because that we will not allow ourselves to be like Xinjian China, sheeps waiting to be slaughtered. Those of you saying “we should ban guns”, should not live in a free country and go live in dictatorship, I am sure in 1930s Mussolini and Hitler would have loved to have citizens such as you.

And last but not least, long live USA for being a free country, and long live their second amendment and their right to keep themselves free and prevent themselves from becoming human cattle like China. We Afghans have a lot to learn from them and hope to re-invite them once they leave, but next time not as invaders but as business partners.

From the video, you can tell he's a much smaller guy than the couple. I'm pretty sure that played a big part in the couples aggressive demeanor towards him. Also, I'm pretty sure this guy has been picked on his whole life because of his height.

He probably got tired of all the BS and just snapped. The couple definitely provoked him and went way overboard with all the trash talk and threats. I don't feel sorry for such disgusting disrespectful people who tend to push their weight around and pick on people smaller than them. The world is a much better place without such vile people.
