you're really stupid, Su-35 infrared sensors Called IRST not ETOS and IRST is only for detecting air targets an not have a capability to detect/discriminate ground targets and F-35 ETOS is IRST+electro-optical senor combined which is useful for both purpose air to air + ground attack, as for HUD/HMD problem, HMD is more advance than HUD,light weight than HUD, HUD's field of view is limited, and give me proof Su-35's HUD has field of view of 70 degree, you stupid @undertakerwwefan :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::crazy::crazy::crazy:

Su-35 nose mounted EOTS does thermal imaging. Su-27's EOTS could not do thermal imaging. Su-35's EOTS could. Actually, all the new generation of ETOS like the ones in Rafale, Typhoon, Su-35 can do thermal imaging.

Su-35 thermal imaging of B-52 in Syria.

you pathetic troller go read the difference between IRST and ETOS, and Su-35/EF-200 have not ETOS but simple IRST do detect air target only, you RETARD HEAD @undertakerwwefan :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

give me source that Su-35 have IRST + laser rangefinder/designator or else shut the fcuk up, you're so dumb @undertakerwwefan :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

Description: The OLS-35 is an advanced infrared search and track (IRST) fire control system designed for the 4+ generation Su-35 fighter aircraft replacing the OEPS-27 sight system. OLS-35 comprises a heat-seeker, a laser rangefinder/designator and a TV camera along with new algorithms and advanced software to outperform its predecessor installed on the Su-27/Su-30 aircraft family. The Su-35 IRST is superior to the OEPS-27 in terms of range, precision and reliability.

The OLS-35 provides a coverage of +/-90 in azimuth and +60/-15 in elevation with a target acquisition range for non-afterburning aerial targets of 50 km facing up to target's front hemisphere and 90 km facing up to rear hemisphere. The laser rangefinder features a five-meter Circular Error Probable (CEP) and ranges up to 20 km for aerial targets and 30 km for targets on the ground.

Thanks, but still its main function has to intercept air targets, with a secondary ground attack capabilities an not consider ETOS equivalent of F-35 @undertakerwwefan :p::sick::angel:

Modern nose mounted EOTS can do ground attack. Of course, F-35's EOTS works better for ground attack because it's mounted on the bottom instead of on the top, at a cost of more radar signature to the plane's front.

at the 1:04 mark

pathetic logic you have you retard @undertakerwwefan IRST+laser range finder/designator is not enough for high precision and work lower atmosphere like in Attack helis/CAS/Strike jets like Su-25/A-10 from higher altitude laser deteriorate and spread and not achieve required precision, Its just a IRST with secondary/degraded ground attack capabilities, you need FLIR to achieve for required precision on SU-35 @undertakerwwefan :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

It's imaging infrared. Latest heat seeking missiles have an IRST in the front that can do heat seeking as well as thermal imaging. Older heat seeking missiles IRST in the front can't do thermal imaging. Latest IRST on planes likewise can do thermal imaging whereas older IRST like the ones in Su-27 and MiG-29 can't do thermal imaging.

:lol::lol:, what are you talking about HEAT SEEKING MISSILE HAVE AN IRST AS A SEEKER :rofl::rofl::rofl: @undertakerwwefan IRST is on the fighter jet you stupid, and thermal imaging and IR imaging is almost same thing @undertakerwwefan :crazy::crazy:

Su-35 radar, one of the most powerful in the world. Can detect fighter plane at nearly 400 km.

All the newest IRST on missiles and planes have thermal imaging.
