Amazon Go customers will be able to pay by placing their hand over a sensor using Amazon One, which connects their palm print to a stored value card, according to a CNN report. Customers usually use a code on their smartphones to access the stores and to pay.
Amazon One will be available in two Amazon Go stores in Seattle, with more added in the next few months in Seattle, Chicago, New York City and San Francisco.

The company plans to make the technology available to other retailers.

Well now not only do you not need your wallet...you don't even need your phone.

The future means you could walk off a beach with just your bathing suit and sandals and basically go shopping in no-clerk stores.

Bahi you need to have your phone on you because no govt will like big tech companies to have customers data such as facial id or hand prints in their database... EU is already threatening FB and others to move out if they are not willing to respect peoples privacy

. .
LOL so many technology haters.

1.
Americans who care about privacy really don't care about privacy anymore.
Well, I see, because it’s not in China :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:

Notice it isn't a face or a fingerprint scanner. That's intentional.

2.
Just a bullshit excuse to make sure China doesn't run supreme. :)

It looks at the shape of your hands and veins.

Do you really want every store in Pakistan to record your fingerprints or highly detailed face pictures and keep it on file???

This is perfectly fine in China though.

They already did it in Sweden.
Notice how your fingers are outside the scanning area

Changing PDF reply mode to "Chinese teen" format. Enabling emoji abuse.

Another excuse.
Couldn't the chip be positioned? Is there no consumption record? :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:

Welcome to George Orwell's 1984. He wrote the book on how your government would do this to you 70 years ago. They've been using this British dystopian book as an Instruction Guide for your society!

You dare not answer my question, you can only avoid it.:omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:
The United States has many cameras, and the United States monitors American citizens through the Internet. Is this fake?
Well, I see, because the number of cameras in the US is less than that in China, so the US is an angel and China is a demon :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:

Many countries do, including the US. Hoewever China takes it to an extreme. China is #1 in internet control!!!!! They even watch/restrict phrases you can type in chat apps on a whim.
Even Apple is required to create a special phone for the Chinese market with extra surveillance software on it.

:omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:

At least I can walk around outside without 100's of thousands of Big Brother Police State cameras constantly watching me.

LOL!! The US doesn't have police cameras on every corner like in 1984 or China!! The Chinese Government just as predicted in 1984 has brainwashed you perfectly into thinking it.

:omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:

We do have millions of private citizen (like doorbells) and private store cameras that aren't connected to the government/police.

Don’t you know that the number of street cameras in the United States is only less than that of China and more than other countries? :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:

LOL! I bet even London has more police street cameras and more people under perpetual surveillance than any city in the US...including NYC.

And a typical Chinese police surveillance state city probably has over 1000 times more police cameras than London...and certainly far more people under constant surveillance.

:omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:
