Amar Desh acting editor Mahmudur held

DHAKA, April 11, 2013 (BSS) -Detective Branch (DB) of police today arrested daily Amar Desh acting editor Mahmudur Rahman from office of the daily at Karwanbazar in the capital.
"A team of detective arrested Mahmudur Rahman from Amar Desh
office of Karwan Bazar at 9.05 am in connection with a case under
Information Technology Act filed with Tejgaon police station,"
Deputy commissioner DB (media) Masudur Rahman told BSS.
He added that Mahmudur was later brought to the DB
headquarters on the Mintu Road for initial formality ahead of
producing him before the court while he was expected to be
charged particularly for "Skype Hacking".
Talking to BSS, officer-in-charge of Tejgaon police station
Apurba Hasan said, "A case was lodged here for his alleged
involvement in 'Skype Hacking' on December 12 last year."
