Remember the story of the boy who used to shout wolf, wolf for fun and when the a real wolf came no one cared about his shouting and calling for help.


Maybe one day he will do the same thing and people will not say anything thinking he will again recall his resignation, and at the same time Altaf will be waiting for the people to ask him to take back his resignation.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain once again resigns form party leadership

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has announced that he no longer wanted to run the party affairs and resigned from the post.


MQM Chief Altaf Hussain speaking to party’s office-bearers at Nine-Zero via telephone from London said that he did not have energy or patience to run the party affairs and urged to the workers to dissolve the ‘movement’ and concentrate on running Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) to serve mankind.

Altaf Hussain said that his decision was final this time and that all party activities should be stopped from now on.


“I will not be addressing the workers from now on,” he said.

He said the workers can choose another leader with consensus.

However, the party workers refused to abide by his latest decision and chanted slogans in favour of their leader.

“I cannot do everything alone in the party,” said the MQM chief.

It is pertinent to mention here that MQM chief has made the similar decision in the past as well only to take them back on workers’ insistence.

Maybe, just maybe, it is minus one formula.

Army is forcing him to resign and MQM will continue with good people. MQM isn't completely filled with filth. Many good people exists. You shut MQM, it's gonna cause a lot of trouble. Altaf himself resigns and bad people are put to jail, not much of a trouble.

Altaf Hussain will never resign(which is bad for MQM). Too much power makes you blind, he started off good but Karachi is a gold mine man, once you get taste of power and wealth that Karachi has you will go blind. No wonder everyone wants a piece of Karachi, PTI and Taliban might combine forces to take some MQM seats. Like how TTP wiped out ANP from KPK, maybe they might try that in Karachi.
