The students' union has alleged that the attack was orchestrated by the RSS-affiliated Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). The JNUSU has alleged that ABVP "goons" pelted stones and also vandalised the property at the Sabarmati hostel.

Students at the Sabarmati Hostel, Mahi Mandvi Hostel, Periyar Hostel hostels of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) have allegedly been attacked.

WHO SAID WHAT

  • Uddhav Thackeray calls for probe in JNU violence
Uddhav Thackeray calls for probe in JNU violence and says this is the first time he is witnessing scenes similar to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

Uddhav Thackeray: Attack on JNU students reminds me of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

JNU VC appeals for calm

  • JNU Vice Chancellor M. Jagadesh Kumar: Would like to appeal to all students to maintain peace. University stands by all the students to facilitate their pursuit of academic activities. We will ensure that their winter semester registration will take place without any hindrance. They need not fear about their process. The top priority of the University is to protect the academic interests of our students.
  • Senior Congress leader and former Union finance minister P Chidambaram said, What we are seeing on Live TV is shocking and horrifying. Masked men enter JNU hostels and attack students. What are the police doing? Where is the police commissioner?
  • West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress president Mamata Banerjee said she strongly condemns the brutality unleashed against students and teachers in JNU.
  • Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal too condemned the attack on students at JNU.
In a tweet Kejriwal said: "I am so shocked to know about the violence at JNU. Students attacked brutally. Police should immediately stop violence and restore peace. How will the country progress if our students will not be safe inside university campus?"

  • Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said the brutal attack in JNU is "shocking" and described the Modi government's rule (without naming it) as a "fascist" one.
"The brutal attack on JNU students and teachers by masked thugs, that has left many seriously injured, is shocking. The fascists in control of our nation, are afraid of the voices of our brave students. Today's violence in JNU is a reflection of that fear," Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet.

  • Both S Jaishankar, the external affairs minister, and Nirmala Sitharaman, the finance minister, said they condemned the violence "unequivocally".
"Have seen pictures of what is happening in JNU. Condemn the violence unequivocally. This is completely against the tradition and culture of the university," said Union Minister for External Affairs.

"This government, regardless of what has been said the past few weeks, wants universities to be safe spaces for all students," finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said.

  • Actor Swara Bhasker, also a JNU alumnus, broke down as she made an emotional appeal to the public to gather at the varsity's main gate in large numbers and put pressure on the Delhi Police to take steps to control the violence -- she said they were failing to do so.
"Obviously, this is very personal for me because my parents live on campus," she said.

  • Former Nepal Prime Minister and JNU alumnus Baburam Bhattarai re-tweeted Swara Bhasker's post.
"My heart-felt solidarity with my alma mater JNU! Please save this holy temple of learning!" he said.

  • Former JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar said students would not bow down no matter how much the government tried to silence them.

    • Shehla Rashid, a former JNUSU vice-president, called for demonstrations to be held both in India and abroad in solidarity with JNU.
    • CPI-M general secretary Sitaram Yechury, a JNU alumnus, described it as "a planned attack by those in power, which is afraid of the resistance provided by JNU to its Hindutva agenda".

Looks like paramilitary judicial killing in India going on wholesale ... Mass murder is nothing to a community fart you are referencing.

Pakistan:
Ulema visit Nankana to express solidarity with Sikhs
DAWN REPORT

SHEIKHUPURA: The Muttahida Aman Council met with Nankana Sahib Deputy Commissioner (DC) Raja Mansoor in his office on Saturday a day after tension between two groups threatened to jeopardise peace in the town that houses one of the most sacred places for the Sikhs.

Ulema from various schools of thought participated in the meeting. The DC assured them that there was no law and order situation in and around the city due to Friday night’s incident where two groups had got into a heated argument outside Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib. The groups had gathered at the tea stall of Zaman whose nephew had married a Sikh girl after allegedly forcing her to convert.

The DC said that at least five people who tried to create a situation on the occasion were taken into custody by the city police, but released after a couple of hours following assurances from some local notables. At present, the situation was fully under control, he claimed.

Do you even watch the complete video of mass scale massacre happening???

Here I'll post it for you again....
