All US troops to leave Afghanistan by September 11, 2021

Your best day was when you cheered on 9-11. :yes4:All you are left with now after we changed their regime is a daily Tourette's outburst. Nothing will help you win back in Afghanistan; those days are gone.
so saying "we" while pretending to be a yankee doodling a dandee, we already know your a sanghi bhakt sitting in some God forsaken cardboard box somewhere in the slums of mumbai's chanti town wearing a lungi & a chappal putting up a front of being an amreekan...its an open secret kanjara!

The gibberish and the Tourette outburst are still not getting you any joy in Afghanistan. :woot:

Why did the United States of America fail to win the war in Afghanistan even after 17 years? Why does the lone superpower fail to defeat a group of goat herders? - Quora
What was the military edge USA have over a bunch of separate goat herders in Afghan? Do not even need the entire fucking country of Afghan.
10,000 to 1 ?
Or is it the Afghan goat herders have military technology greater than USA??
I finished reading “the Outpost” by Jake Tapper. How a bunch of goat herders in Afghan with AKs and rpgs and IEDs (because they do not have billion dollar industry to make bombs like USA, can only make bombs in backyard on a DIY basis) taking out USA brave men despite they having 155 howizters , 120 mm mortars , Ma Deuces, A-10s, properly build bombs, B52s and helicopter gunships , AC-130 Spectre Gunships and billions of dollars backing them and not so good in protecting them.
If USA fought bravely with massive firepower behind them, then what about the goat herders with only AKs and RPGs fighting against USA knowing they fighting against 155 howizters , 120 mm mortars , Ma Deuces, A-10s, properly build bombs, B52s and helicopter gunships , AC-130 Spectre Gunships ?
Even more fucking brave is the least I can say of the Afghans goat herders. Who were untrained knowing only how to herd goats unlike the USA special forces who went through countless hours and weeks and months learning how to kill and kill.
Yet who won? And who left Afghan?
Maybe USA army should consider making their fighting folks do a course in goat herding . As who knows, maybe herding goats might be better to build up fighting skills.

USA got fucked when USA tried that in Afghan . Against a bunch of tribesmen when USA had 1000 the firepower over them. And after a trillion of dollars what have USA got to show in Afghan?
Why did the United States of America fail to win the war in Afghanistan even after 17 years? Why does the lone superpower fail to defeat a group of goat herders?

Can we at least get a few eff solas and pinky promise not to sell endians any fancy toys???

I anticipate the opposite. Officially supporting Pakistan to help Afghanistan on humanitarian grounds but downgrading the military relationship similar to what it was in the 90s. This is unless the Biden Administration makes a play for influence in Pakistan and to challenge Chinese influence, at which point defense sales and invitations to exercises will probably pick up, within a limited scope.

The administration says it will keep sufficient forces in the region to react if al-Qaida or other terrorist groups re-establish training camps inside Afghanistan, but the dispersal of the terrorist threat meant it no longer made sense to keep a permanent force in the country.

“This is not 2001, it is 2021,” the senior official said. “And in 2021, the terrorist threat that we face is real and it emanates from a number of countries indeed a number of continents, from Yemen, from Syria, from Somalia, from other parts of Africa. And we have to focus on those aspects of a dispersed and distributed terrorist threat.”

Wait just where in the region? The region is completely shut off to them i.e. Russia's influence Central Asia. Joe's government doesn't get on with Pakistan, and no Pakistani government would allow it. India? Maybe, but I doubt it, it's too far away and the Indian people wouldn't want it.

Also it seems the US will flush parts of the Middle East and Africa with troops, looks like they're going to fight multiple insurgencies at the same time.
My guess is they will be pushing pakistan to house permanant drone office/counter insurgency unit..doubt central asian countries will cozy up these days to USA but that is an option used before

It depands what they offer Pakistan in return? but having limited presence in Pakistan won't surprise me they worked with Pakistan military and comfortable with them they used to have base at Uzbekistan but it closed long time ago there is nothing for US in Central Asia
Shahbaz base is perfectly fit in this context

6 months is my guess before taliban over run kabul.
However, this may be delayed if an extensive drone operation is carried but that will hurt pakistan as we will become the target. I am assuming all contractors will leave too as this was part of the deal(unless USA is shunning the deal; a possibility)

So my guess is USA pakistan will look for compromise and strictly use it only for high value alqeda targets

If this happens then 6-8 months before afghan govt collapses sooner if money stop flowing(wont happen4-5b$ is nothing for USA 80+ foreign aid program)

Once govt collapse expect peshwar population to double and lot of stress on KPK both economically and socially

I saw peshwr/pakistan afghn population has already exploded recently in last 3-4 yrs.

Now what would be aid componenet /understanding between pakistan-usa is whats interesting

I think military weapons is something we shouldnt look for and instead focus on economic assitance and assisstance to deal with huge impending refugee crisis that is happening soon. We must be ready for it
The best case senrio is four way split between various factions with long term cease fire.
I think tht is what pakistan russia and china should work on. If that happens we may see some stability and fewer refugees. But taliban wont give up victory on neg table..

So severe fighting, govt collapse , refugee crisis, beheadings, hanging and ethnic cleanzing is all but waiting

Will we jump in to manage thr impending disaster or not is what i am going to see.

Interestingly pakstn response is mute after this declaration, this shows relationship between liberal afghan govt & pakistan is bad and we want them gone..this means that we r going to try to manage the situation as this liberal PTM TTP BLA supporting afghan govt has been disaster for paksitan

They need six months for relocate hardware from bases dismantaling expensive equipment and ship it through Pakistan they not gonna do any drone strike my two cents Talibans will give them these 6 months beacuse it's in theior interest Pakistan has to bear burden So Pakistan needs strong legs both military and economic to deal rafugee influx and getting ready militarily.
So expect US foot print in Pakistan in any form along Pakistani forces in return Pakistan get stretegic favour from US like CPEC acceptance investment in Pakistan trade FATF getting money from Donar institutions like WB IMF facilitation in peace with India

Which bring us to real question
1990s when USA completely ignored afghanistan..will USA do that again..or will it keep a small force in pakistan (or central asia) as counter insurgency force (biden.orginal plan)

Biden may face stiff resistance but his plan is clearly the second, he is experience and not a foul as protrayed, he will probabaly given either economic or some military incentive(albeit very benign as we saw early 2000s before f16s in face of severe indian pressure)

Pakistan muted response also suggest that the benefit of toppling afghan govt(or pressurizing them to comply in Anti terroism) outweighs the huge risk of large scale refugee crisis

I expect taliban to wait and drag their feet in negoiations
The moment withdrawl is almost complete you will an extensive over runs of south and northwest within days but central and kabul may be 3-4 months

Key is also kabuls recent airpower with two squardon of buzzers but those r maintained by USA how long will they effectively fly those is the question
