The total franchise rights have actually been sold for 93 million dollars. The 2.6 million that karachi was sold for is what they will pay yearly. So since they have rights for 10 years in total they will pay $26 million. The budget etc will be obviously be separate and that will come from the owners. This was just the franchise rights that were sold. How much the broadcasting rights went for is unknown as of now. Any how it pretty decent moneh for the pcb. We all know its not as big as IPL, we don't have 1 billion + people in our country to support something like that.
