DUBAI: England’s defeat in the second Test at Headingley by Sri Lanka turned into a blessing in disguise for Pakistan as they moved to No.3 in the ICC Test rankings.
England lost 4 points after losing the home series against Sri Lanka which brought them down to 100 ranking points because of which they moved from No.3 to No.5 in the overall rankings.
As a result Pakistan with 103 points moved to No.3 from No.4. Australia retained its No.1 status while South Africa maintained the No.2 spot.
