McDonald’s just hinted as introducing the famous ‘Anday Wala Burger’ and the Pakistani Twitterati has lost it’s calm

LAHORE- McDonald’s has made sure it preserves its dominance in Pakistan by constantly trying to adding some desi touch it’s menu. Examples include the shake shake fries they launched almost a decade ago that had masala powder. Then came the chapli kebab burger. And now, it seems as if they might be introducing Bun Kebabs or Anday Wala Burger.

Almost everyone in Pakistan loves ‘Anday wala Burger’ and each city has its own special spot for these burgers. Lahore has Lasani, Karachi has Mirchiliand even Islamabad has it’s very own Nagina. But one place that should not be serving these burgers seems all set to localise it’s menu.

Anday wala burger is not something you’ll want to devour at some fancy restaurant, it’s meant to be relished in the comfort of your car in a parking lot or on the roadside at a khoka with your friends.

Will they serve podiny ki chatni as well?

Plus it will be more hygienic at mcdonalds

Burgers from places like these taste like chappal (slippers) after a 30 min ride home.

Nothing wrong but it is just a strategy for them to fleece additional customers.

In terms of percentage Its better to get a 50 rupee profit on a 250 rupees something future McDonald's edition andey Wala burger than 50 rupees on 650-700+ Big Mac.

More ROI, more sales volume and additional tapping into the target market that can afford to buy this along with mcflurry/sundae instead of a Big Mac only. This is especially required considering the inflationary pressure that we are facing nowadays along with stiff competition from local better burger joints.

Another double anda lover like me I see

Yes, I ask for that whenever I eat an andey wala with friends/colleagues.
