Of course, he's right. Musharraf is the most democratic leader we have had, that too in the form of a dictator. He is also the least dictating dictator. Compare him with BB an NS and you'd know. I mean rewind 8 years back and we had only PTV and their top show was AIOU lesson on "Nazareen sui main dhaaga aisay dalta hai".
I mean Musharraf has guts, so he allowed all this. Nawaz Sharif and Benazir banned junoon for their two version of the song "Ihtisaab" for each of them. One could imagine that "Dharti ke khuda" which was sung right about the time when Musharraf came to power, and expelled NS to Saudi was sung about him. But even still he went up on stage and sung Jazba Junoon with them on stage.

Ali is right. Musharraf has given so much freedom to the media that now efforts to censor or ban a particular medium or journalist leads to a lot of protests. He has given irreverseable freedom to the media. Jiye Musharraf.
