Asim Umar, a former Indian national from Uttar Pradesh who had migrated to Pakistan in 1990 is not only the chief of Al Qaeda’s South Asia chapter but also a confirmed RAW agent and his outfit has been involved in an attempt to hijack PNS Zulfikar, The News has learnt on good authority.

Talking to The News on the condition of anonymity, the sources within the defence establishment disclosed that through propaganda unleashed with finesse, both RAW and Al Qaeda had built up a wrong perception that Al Qaeda’s subsidiary outfits (or even Al Qaeda itself) and RAW had no linkage or nexus with each other. This propaganda is altogether false, according to the sources which further told this writer that many an instance has come to the fore with evidence that are available with our intelligence network that prove that RAW-Al Qaeda nexus does exist. The case of Asim Umar is one out of these many examples that have, of late, exposed everything beyond doubt. Asim Umar is the same man who created Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) women force under the title of “Shaheen Force”.

This exposure of India’s links- and collaboration- with Al Qaeda and their supporters within TTP/TTA (Tehreeke Taliban Pakistan and Tehreeke Taliban Afghanistan) has unnerved New Delhi establishment that is now finding it hard to entice the new Afghan government into becoming its (New Delhi’s) proxy or protégé. According to the sources, as such, India now feels marginalized in the unfolding Afghan chessboard which is a big jolt to New Delhi’s “incessant efforts to turn Afghanistan into its sub-state” (sic).

Keeping these setbacks in view, Indian authorities have embarked on a hypocritical plan that, on one hand, aims at wooing the new Afghan leadership through announcement of economic package worth $2 billion in the garb of socio-economic development (infrastructural and humanitarian projects) of Afghanistan. On the other hand, playing the double-cross, India has started counterweight measures to counter Taliban by promoting IS in Afghanistan.

It was further revealed by the sources: “Recently, the IS-claimed incident in Jalalabad has also traces of Indian linkage. India is trying to counter Taliban through IS in Afghanistan. Emergence of IS in Afghanistan (to counter-weigh Taliban) has also links with Indian security agencies as majority of the groups announcing allegiance to it, enjoyed good contacts with Indian RAW and were exploited as proxies against Pakistan.”

Another alarming disclosure made by the sources in this scenario is that RAW and anti-China intelligence agencies are likely to step up activities by strengthening East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) along Pak - China territory to foment terrorism in China.

In this whole scenario, however, the role of Afghan Government has been quite conducive to promotion of lasting peace in the region as, according to the sources, Kabul is not ready to support Indian maneuvers towards China and Pakistan.

Revealing the hypocrisy in this game, the sources disclosed that India has not made any investment for the war-torn Afghanistan since 2012, which also exposes its sham sincerity and commitment for Afghanistan.

to suggest RAW support for al qaeda is a bit of a stretch...RAW certainly has assets that are working with TTP and like-minded cohorts (thugs) in Afghanistan. We will deal with them one by one, bullet by bullet.

al qaeda itself is more of a concept, an idea....it's not a centralized organization the way it once perhaps was in mid/late 1990s

.
MQM...... Now Al Qaeda..................... LeT next?
MQM are your known puppets but there end has begun and many of there main leaders are about to end up in Jail.

He was in PPP party then joined PML-N now in PTI .:blah::blah::blah:

I have my doubts over the piece as we all now The Jang group being mouth piece of India, and after what they have said and done against the establishment, I wonder who in his right mind will speak to this media house, and that too on such a delicate matter......
you said correctly AQ is more of an idea, an ideology, they will do whatever is the best for the survival, they took help from Taliban in Afghanistan, but once US bombs starting pounding they took refugee under the Umbrella of TTP, but now with TTP being crushed they need a shelter to keep there heads under, and I would not be surprised if they would get assistance offered from across the border.......
AQ's survival strategy has always been simple, keep Pakistani Army fighting a war with the wrong enemy or a different front while they lay under the carpet ----
We knew RAW supported the attack on PNS Zulfiqar, but it was not sure if it was done with help from JSQM - sindhi nationalists, or other splinter group of TTP.......

Wrong again!

India has been one of the leading donors of Afghanistan as it had invested over $2 billion in sectors like education, health and infrastructure development among others.

These days are they are busying improving there image

Internal politics, You can't get rid of some "Disillusioned Brothers" just like that, so they are labeling their own people as RAW agents to get their citizens to back them for operations against them. According to their current narrative RAW is active in Balochistan through BLA/BRA, in KPK as TTP and in Karachi as MQM.
