Have you even seen WAAR!!! Only people who havnt seen it think its propoganda. The Indians that Ive heard have seen it all liked it. Only people basing opinions on online reviews have called it propaganda. Since it was so hard to get a copy of, most of the reviews outside of Pakistan are based on just the trailer by people not having seen it.

Whatever shown is based on whats actually happening. The freeing of the Chinese hostage and attack on Police academy by militants actually happened.

Politicians unwilling to make Kalabagh Dam (Mega Dam Project) even though despite submerging some areas it will solve Pakistans energy and water problems. Plus since energy will be almost free a massive boost to economy.
Foreign elements trying to create chaos.
Militants who are actually mercenaries for hire not wanting writ of government. To protect illegal activities and their drug businesses using religion as excuse
Tremendous civilian and law enforcement loss of life because of the war on terror.
Pakistan's resolve to fight militancy despite lack of acknowledgment.

Even as a movie buff some of the cinematography is really good and worth watching for the visual feast. Only downside of the movie was too much content was put in and story line had to sacrifice continuity to cover it all.

I have seen some parts of Waar but not complete movie. Its hard to watch because of fake english accent and terrible acting in general.
