I admit there are problems, and the Sachar committee report pointed them out pretty explicitly. But you have to also remember, that in India the armed forces are still looked on as the few decently functioning government units, and nobody wants to mess with that.

On the flip side, Parsis have been over-represented in India. As for PMs, there is a reason - most of Indian PMs came from one family, while their main opposition is Hindu-leaning. If AAP establishes itself as a viable party in the future there may be a chance.

do your maths... 3/42 is 7.1% and thats fine because muslims make just 13% of Indian population.
We still have a mini Pakistan in India, 'coz I guess your Muslim population is same as ours.
