In Azad Jammu & Kashmir, people celebrated the 67th independence day of Pakistan on Wednesday with traditional zeal and fervour besides with the renewal of the pledge to frustrate every attempt of adventurism by India against the frontiers of Pakistan including AJK standing by should-to-shoulder the valiant armed forces of Pakistan. The National flag hoisting ceremonies in the capital city of Muzaffarabad as well as all other district and tehsil head quarters were the hall mark of the day with the renewal of the pledge to lend all out individual and collective efforts for the safety, solidarity, integrity and prosperity of the country and to translate the ideology of accession of Jammu & Kashmir to Pakistan in to reality through making the Kashmir freedom struggle complete success.
Like all previous years, elaborated colorful programs were devised to celebrate the independence day of Pakistan across AJK state with great enthusiasm and devotion coupled with the renewal of the pledge to continue the ongoing struggle for the birth right of self determination till it reach to its logical end. It was a gazetted holiday across AJK. The day dawned with special prayers in the mosques for the stability, prosperity, security and speedy progress of Pakistan and for the early success of the Kashmir freedom movement. The national flag hoisting ceremonies, rallies, processions and the colorful functions were held under the aegis of the local administrations with the coordination of various public and private sector, social and political organizations in all small and major towns and cities of Azad Jammu & Kashmir to mark of this national day of exceptional importance.
