Think the Russians mean air-strikes on civilians. Gaddafi himself claims that the airforce has been used to target arms dumps.

Al Jazeera instinctly roots for the underdogs no matter who it is. That's American's hate them for their coverage of Israel.

Just watched the Al Jazeera video and there was no concrete mention of purposeful indiscriminate bombing of civilians, which is what was being disputed by the Russian report. It was all bombing runs on the opposition. This is the crux of the situation since it is the excuse being used to gather support for an American inspired and led foreign intervention.

So the bombing centering around the university doesn't count as targeting civilians to you?

So after half the worlds media is running around libya but still no proof yet that gadaffi attacked civilians with fighter jets and the thousand that have seen these planes bomb innocent peole but not a single phone video footage of the attacks.

There was a BBC report that was trying to show all the foreign workers leaving and paying special attention to the chinese......the strange thing was that the chinese where building 20,000 flats in a complex for the average libyan funded by gadaffis govt.
They keep going on about the "secret police" and how everybody is scared but fail to mention thatn the UK since 1998 until now over 333 people have died in police custody or tortured to death as the western media love to call it if its the other way round and not a single policeman has been prosecuted.
No doubt libya is not the bastion of freedom for the world but its not as bad as the western media make it out to be.
