A member of the Ahmedi community was shot dead while his son and another companion were injured in a targeted attack in Soldier Bazaar on Tuesday evening.

The victims were identified as Hamid Sami, 45, his son, Osama, 18, and a companion, Salman Zaman, 48. They were shot multiple times by unidentified men who escaped from the scene.
The police said Sami and Zaman were returning home. “A protest against load-shedding was being staged on MA Jinnah Road so they chose to take an alternative route,” DSP Zameer Abbasi told The Express Tribune. “Armed men on motorcycles, who had apparently been following the victims’ car, took advantage of the narrow streets and opened fire.” Police officials believe that the incident was a continuation of the targeted killings of Ahmedis. DSP Abbasi added Zaman was not an Ahmedi.
Separately, a Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi worker, Noman Iqbal, 33, was killed by unknown men in a targeted attack in Shah Faisal Colony.

Well sectarian killings wont stop unless the takhedar of mazhab stop handing out green cards to heaven and kafir stamps on other Pakistanis. Problem is the jahil so called religious leaders who give Islam a bad name. They need to controlled.

inna lillah wainna ilayhi rajioon.

What if it was a personal feud?

Personal feud with whom? Ahmadis don't kill each other unlike Sunnis and Shias. Maybe another Muslims was jealous of his business success. Wait and see until more details are given.

If there's no evidence to suggest that it wasn't a feud,there is no evidence of a 'targeted attack' either. Its just express tribune doing its masala journalism. Had it been anyone else the news would not have been 'Religiosised'....since its a minority it HAS to be religiously motivated.

Ahmedis do these kind of attacks on themselves to make news... this ensure them asylum in UK.

When Ahmadis are killed its Ahmadis doing drama? When sunnis are killed then its worldwide conspiracy. Classic example of being brainwashed by semi literate mullahs and media.

@Jaanbaz

Actually we have the details coming through. It was a targeted attack and not a random one.

I must agree. Unless @Aeronaut can demonstrate why his assumptions and thinking are warranted by providing proofs (no opinion articles and no videos, please.)
