LAHORE: Unidentified man gunned down on Friday an Ahmadi doctor near Moon Market in Lahore.

Ashfaq Ahmed, 68, a veterinary doctor, was on his way to an Ahmadi worship place to offer prayers when he was attacked.

The attacker flagged down Ahmed to stop his car, shot him at point-blank range, and then fled, said Saleemduin, a spokesperson for Jamat-e-Ahmadia.

He added that Ahmed’s 11-year-old grandson was sitting on the rear seat while another man was sitting in the front passenger at the time of the attack. Ahmed died on the spot and his body was shifted to the morgue for autopsy.

The community’s spokesperson said the deceased had no personal enmity and the murder was only motivated by his faith.

On March 30, a cousin of noble laureate Dr Abdus Salam was gunned down in Nankana while his son narrowly escaped in another anti-Ahmadi attack.

Advocate Malik Saleem Latif, head of Nankana City Jamat-e-Ahmadiya, was going to his office at Nankana Sahib courts with his son Advocate Malik Awais on a motorcycle. As they reached near Beri Wala Chowk, an assailant opened fire at them from behind, killing Latif.

Notice how most of the Ahmadis who are always martyred are either highly educated or retired security personnel. More proof Pakistani Ahmadis are either serving the nation through civil or military means, unlike the uneducated terrorists and their backers who have done nothing good in their life but are looking for a free ticket to paradise because they are failures.

May Allah Ta'ala bless both of these martyrs with the highest station in Paradise. Ameen.

First of all, My full sympathy with the families of the deceased, They were indeed highly educated and i'd never doubt the commitment and love of any Pakistani towards his Motherland unless untill he/she proves himself/herself to be a Altaf Hussain, Hussain Haqqani, Hamid Meer, Marvi Sarmad, Asma Jahangir etc. I'd also like to add that like every other human being i also wish and pray that ALLAH (S.W.T) grant me Jannah after i transit from this world to the everlasting life. Only ALLAH (S.W.T) will decide who goes where coz he is the creator of the heavens and the hell. Having said that, i know one thing and that is there is a door to every arena and a key to every door. The only key to Jannah is "LA ILAHA ILLALAH-O-MOHAMMAD UR RASOOL ALLAH", thats which bars non believers from entering jannah nomatter how noble, pious or wonderful human beings they are, in case of Ahmadis a muslim would never pray for jannah for them as u did at the end of your post, you can pray for them only if you yourself are an ahmadi, i am not accusing u and being ahmadi doesn't make u a lesser human being but just trying to bring your attention to what i noticed in your post, please correct me if i am wrong please.

Ahmedis are just misguided people, but one of the strongest segments of Pakistani society. My father was in the Pakistani Airforce and only had good things to say about fellow Ahmedis. Regarding religion, he said they are misguided and wrong. Other than that, one of the finer segments of Pakistani society to deal with. Really no differences, except religious views. Inshallah they will follow the correct path. Other than the religious view, they are one of the more patriotic and shareef people amongst Pakistanis.

My family and I are one of the dreaded Wahabis of Pakistan.

Does Quran say ahmedis are non Muslim's or it is only in Pakistan?
In India ahmedis are considered as muslims!! I'm confused!

.
Sure...we will be worried in the 'cow thread'! Is this a cow thread?
Stick to the topic at hand!
So what do you want to dicsuss that whether Ahmadis are muslims or non muslims? so basically you want to start a religious discussion here?

Agree with the beginning of your post but Allah Ta'ala and the Holy Prophet (saw) don't belong to the followers of a particular sect or religion. I can pray for whoever I like. My God is merciful enough to forgive whoever he likes. We can pray for his mercy and expect it otherwise this world is pointless.

And I've never hidden that I am an Ahmadi.

Religious differences aside, I don't dread the Salafis, My grandfather was a Salafi before converting, and that side of the family are still Salafis and protected his life during Anti Ahmadiyya riots/tensions as he was the only Ahmadi in his village when the rioters from outside came to attack him.

Plus, I respect the Salafis as I find them to be least hypocritical. I only call wahabis those people who take things from the Salafis and then become extremists like ISIS etc.

No...I want to discuss why there is increasing number of cases of killings of ahmedis over the years?
I use ! When I want to stress my point!!!
