What's new

Aging far East countries.

. . . .
"No need for large population "Said by a pro-immigration japanese :cheesy:. Dude, may be you can explain what i feel as a contradiction.

I am not against immigration, i have explained this before. I am for STRICT IMMIGRATION policies that brings in the best to Japan and to bring in those who may assimilate to Japan. There is a clear , strict, dichotomy between being pro strict immigration policy and being an imbecile by letting in undocumented illegal aliens into the country without strict oversight as what is happening in Europe right now.

Germany, right now, has close to 2 million undocumented illegal aliens in their country. THAT is EXACTLY what Japan does not want. Nor shall we suffer such a situation.

We want people who will want to be come JAPANESE, not people who want to change JAPAN.

I hope you can better understand context, my friend. Regards,

He said

Speak Human to Human, Speak Ghost (Language) to Ghost

Yes, i knew exactly what he said, thank you for the translation.

Rather than paying people a fortune to have more children why not just restrict abortion? Over here about a fifth of pregnancies end in abortion. I don't know the rate in the Far East but I suspect it is fairly high.

A fifth of pregnancies in the UK end in abortion? Or is this number a general statement about the West? That is immense.

It is high. In Japan it is around 280 to 350 per 1000 live births. About 1/3rd of all pregnancies in Japan end in abortions.

If we can reduce abortion rates, we can basically solve the population crisis overnight.

I'm talking about Britain specifically although our abortion rate is Western Europe's highest behind Sweden.

Pakistan's 50 per cent — people are aged between 18 and 35 , and like my bro stated Pakistan 63 %+ people are under the age of 25.

见人说人话,见鬼说鬼话。
Self-contradiction can often be seen in the friend with the used-plaster style flag.
Immigration in large scale is inappropriate for a country with high population density like Japan to improve its structure of population, that should be the reason why Japan haven't done that.

Yes, it is exceedingly high. So is Japan's.

The working prose is 'controlled immigration'. Japan should consider increasing immigration quotas , however Japanese Ministry of Immigration should not sacrifice stringent selective criterion for numbers requisition. You understand? Every year Japan receives about 6,000 applications for asylum and only a dozen or so are admitted after review. For permanent residency applications, Japan receives hundreds of thousands of applications every year, however we have a quota amount. Perhaps we can increase the quota.

Ultimately the population crisis cannot be solved by simply bringing in immigrants en masse, the gist of the problem is the issue of social culture in Japan, particularly in Japanese women and their propensity to go through with abortion if they find out they are pregnant. Pregnancies are aborted by younger Japanese women because they see pregnancy as a barrier to professional success, and prefer to wait. What the Japanese Family Planning Ministry need to do is to increase awareness of social planning and increase social awareness of the 'ACCEPTANCE' of being pregnant early on, and on keeping the child till term. This is a long term solution. If we can decrease our abortion rates form 300 per every 1000 live births to say 150 per every 1000 live births then Japan would solve the population crisis overnight. In fact this would mean a rise in Japanese population. :)

Ultimately the goal is to keep Japanese Society ....Japanese. :)

Your immigration authorities lack of enough awareness and cognition of aging problem. A Japanese nationality also is less attractive, and the attraction is less and less. For the immigrants they also have many selections, i think most people lack of interest to narrow street and room. However, most other people in the world cannot endure narrow and petty space like Japanese can.

Come on, you just reveal another serious social problem in Japan------high rate of early pregnancy. That is not a solution that is also a complicated and serious problem needed to solve, never brag that.

Come on, you lack the capability of assimilation like US or Europe, also you are not confident to your current capability of assimilation.
