China right now !
Looks like an Indian, smells like an Indian, so it must be an Indian.

LOL , it does not matter who asked the plaintiff to go to court.
If the court rules against you, they do it because you are in breach. Your guilty verdict is because you are guilty of the breach- not because you think US paid the plaintiff!

You are now the source of UNCLOAS laws and UN laws... somehow no one pointed it out to the UN pointed, or to the UNCLOAS before they ruled against China. Stop the press we found an expert on PDF

You keep lecturing us about respecting international laws.

Your own country the US has compromised long-standing nuclear nonproliferation laws and regulations. The US has rewarded India, a country that has refused to join the NPT, preferential treatment. Something the US has not even given to nations which have actually assumed all the obligations and responsibilities of the NPT.

You think the world is crazy? Everyone understands the double standards applied by the US. You accuse others of not adhering to laws, but you yourself are complicit of breaking them.

Don't be amazed when people question your double standards. It sounds weird when you claim that you are civilized and don't break any rules when the opposite is actually true.

I am really amazed at American appetite for creating more conflicts and problems. It is almost like they are searching for conflict opportunities. The world is already an unstable place with many regions burning to the ground due to US meddling. The US is creating more and more foes each day. Not a very smart strategy to follow.
If the world is already unstable, then why is China contributing to that instability by claiming the entirety of the SCS, creating apprehension among the Asian countries by tacitly threatening their economic well being ?

Cause the world needs a counter balance to make it stable, China is the only hope for the world to take up this job

Creating political and economic tensions among your neighbors, who happens to be our allies, does not make a 'counter balance'. But if you believe that, then you should understand that the other guy -- US -- is going to respond to that 'counter balance'. In other words, China is the provocateur. Now everyone in the region sees it for real. So much for your 'counter balance'. The UN decision basically told China to STFU.

In the 50s we just beat you half way, what a pity... this time we will beat you all the way through.:yahoo: but your spineless politicians now don't sound like they have the balls to do anything, what a disappointment for PLA:sniper:

Facts, facts...China has no choice but to declare a ADIZ in SCS.

Peter Lee is no friend of China. An American with deep knowledge of history and geopolitics. If anyone wants indepth knowledge...based on facts.. a couple of hours of education goes a long way.

The truth is the Chinese have been accepting and accomodating everyone for a long time. From border issues with India to concessions in ECS and SCS. One hopes that senseless hatred stops and peaceful siutatioin pervails.

Please, remember.. the Chinese are not afraid anymore..

On the contrary, we could also argue that the US is stoking a fire by arming China's neighbors and interfering in its internal matters.

Remember, the US created world instability by invading Iraq and unleashing ISIS. China cannot be accused of such things. China didn't invade another country. China is simply reclaiming its own territory. That too in a sea region.

Bring it on.
We have been.

This UN ruling does not mean for China but for the rest of Asia. No one expects China to change and China can build those islands all she want. The arbitration simply said that for the rest of the world, the SCS is essentially open territory, what China claimed is meaningless, and passage thru can be enforced BY ANYONE.

That mean if the Japanese decide to send their navy to enforce the freedom of navigation thru the SCS, there is nothing China can do about it, except to sink those JPNese ships. So if you want to say 'Bring it on', say it to your government.

In all this China has proved to be a country that has no respect for international law. The reputation of China took a huge beating. One thing for sure very few countries in the world would want Chinese leadership.

Please, remember.. the Chinese are not afraid anymore..

You seem not to get the point. It is being the question of 'afraid'. You are in P5, a very large country with 1.4 billion people and second largest economy. If you cannot lead by example, that means you are incapable of taking the leadership role. You have become a outlier.

Sadly, I beg to disagree with you. Kindly, see that your assertions can be applied to your country as well. I wouldn't go there to highlight..

China's reputation is rather going to increase and its position on a host of issues is going ony going to get a boost.
A better reading would be... nothing really has happened other than some fodder for MSM and China bashers.

Best thing really is to focus on developement and improve the lives of millions.

Power flows from the sword.
And China 's sword is shining.

Those who live by the Sword, shall die by the Sword.

Cause the world needs a counter balance to make it stable, China is the only hope for the world to take up this job

The last thing the world needs is an elephant in a glass warehouse.

Chinas reputation can only increase, since it is difficult to fathom how it could decrease.
It has a reputation of beeing a dictatorship under the CCP.
The CCP officials have a reputation of beeing corrupt to the core,
and CCP represses the citizens of China when they complain about it.
