Inferiority complex in practice. I can understand converting but going to the extent of breaking what would be considered historical artifacts and represents your culture. :tsk:

You have no point. Black stone was stolen by a tribe from East Arabia for several years over a thousand years ago. Yet, that did not stop Hajj and Umrah. Obviously, the stone is not worshiped. People follow a tradition to kiss it. The Prophet kissed it. I believe every Prophet who visited the site kissed it, from Adam [as] onward. It is also a cornerstone marker that helps keep track of the number of circumbulations.

Idol worship is idol worship. Just because your idol does not resemble a human, does not stop it from being an idol.

Any true Muslim would denounce this ideoltry and go back to the teachings of the Quran.

No idol worship happens in Makkah

Now go whine about muhajirs. This is not your line of expertise

He misused verses of Quran. You know nothing just like that munkar e hadeeth deviant you quoted and you shouldn't be talking about stuff that you nothing about

Kissing is not worshipping. Only a chutya would say something like that

Yes it does. Bringing Muhajirs into the discussion isn't going to help your argument.

As another poster has written, monotheism is purely mental, but humans need a physical material object to focus on.

Otherwise ancient Greeks were not idol worshipers.

And was not worshipped. It was never a deity.

Likewise this ancient Israelite idol is "not worshiped." It was never a deity:

Ranting wouldn't prove your bogus arguments true. Period

You are a confused atheist who doesn't know what he is talking about. Nothing new or surprising though

Almost every other so called liberal secularist on PDF is a murtad in disguise

I know

Bunch of low IQ idiots

The Saudis did it to Prophet Muhammed's home rather than tuning it into a museum but did not do the same to the Kabaa.

You know why? Because the Kabaa is the idol that generates lots of revenue from millions of annual pilgrims. The Saudi economy is becoming more and more reliant on it.

The hypocrisy of it.

This guy wants demolition of kaaba and calls it an idol

Can you guys do something about this moron??

@The Eagle @waz

I am not an athiest. But better to be an atheist than an idol worshiper; especially one who condemns other people's idols but defends his own.

This murtad calls Muslims are idol worshipers

Please take necessary action

What i'd like to see them doing is breaking those idols in Mecca and elwhere that Muslims bow down to, just because some stupid Hadiths told them so.

That's my opinion.

House of God is a place of worship not a place to worship.

Moreover the concept of monotheism is absolute and consistent in Islam since her inception. Theologically speaking, core fundamental doctrines presented by the Word of God as revealed to the prophet of Islam about matters of Free Will, predestination and afterlife are a theological miracle.

God has no houses. It's insulting and pretty much blasphemous to suggest a man-made structure is the house of an almighty and unexplainable deity.

Most pagan practices seem pre-programmed in the human psyche; the the need for these Hadiths to revive pagan rituals but calling an apple an orange.

"We look like we're worshiping idols but actually we don't anymore."

The spoken word, uncreated, speaks for the sacred house of God. God's attributed to fill our desires and is most closer to us than we are to ourselves. These rituals are our needs for which God has chosen on his discretion the specifics.

Kaaba is a masjid. There is video of people praying inside. Are Masjids idols. You are idolizing the Kaaba which is disbelief.
Quran 3-96 Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah - blessed and a guidance for the worlds.

Masjids are fine but not relvant. Regardless people don't bow down to it or kiss it several times a day. They argue, it's the direction of God.

Sorry God has no direction. Humans have yet to prove it. It's an idol. One can argue the same about statues of Zeus.

Rituals chosen by God or by humans because the adoption of monotheism meant going away with man-made rituals, which humans cannot seem to let go of?

It seems to be programmed in their DNA. You see other religions doing similar things with man-made objects. Why is theirs wrong, but yours "right?"

In most ways, their rituals only parallel yours. Looking into psychology/sociology, there is much to be told.
