if i am not wrong, Afghanistan under Pak influence is in favor of Pak as strong Afghanistan will always demand to redraw Duand line

even Taliban opposed Durand line

Hence proved taliban were not in our control or supported by us.

. . . .
There are kinds of Talibans. Afghan Taliban and Pakistani Taliban. Both are scums and pigs. Both kills humans , blow up girls schools , force women to wear burqa, lash women and force men to wear short shalwars and grow beard. Afghan taliban murders afghan civilians and pakistani taliban murders pakistani civilians. Some NATO/Afghan army have been killed in collateral damage. similarly in pakistan some armymen have been killed in collateral damage.
pakistan loves the taliban that kills afghans aka afghan taliban but hates its own homegrown taliban. my point is if u love afghans why harbours pigs who kill afghans.
there are two types of taliban . one type of taliban are mujhahid or they are called muslim army and the other taliban like TTP are fake ,they work for america....

yes we support afghan taliban but not TTP ....TTP is working for america and israel ........

.
Do you think Pakistan would have done better had Karachi been similarly targeted by us?

We have done much better in entering the once "No Go" areas and ridding the menace.
Assuming of course your forces have the same regard for collateral civilian casualties as ours did.
Several thousand military casualties should put a lid on any cheap banter.
Do you think any country in the world could have done better?
Yes, those merely executing their duties and there are those exercising maximum attention, in middle of the scenario, recall the teacher with a bunch of ten twelve years old doing rounds and shouting anti-Pakistan slogans....do you people really wash the soap before your hands. !!
Remember Beslan? The hostages were all herded into a central location there. Not spread across multiple pockets at three different sites. How many days did Beslan take?

You feel like pitting yourselves against crack Russian special forces any time soon let me know.

P.S. Yes, we all know how your brave forces faced up to the Soviet might in Afghanistan.
RANT
Your military HQ is attacked in broad daylight.

You naval base is attacked in broad daylight.

Places brimming with trained soldiers armed to the teeth.
Utter nonsense, last time I visited Army HQ, i only encountered some sentry's at the front gate, even an APC was placed there only after the attack. As for howling on the Naval base attack, well, you have also had your share of embarrassments by in-house sabotage incidents but I guess if it's not to your benefit...all is swept under the carpet.

Hangar Roof Collapses, Damages 8 India Jets - Los Angeles Times

And you have the gumption to talk down to us because fanatical suicidal indoctrinated fidayeen bent on death and trained and armed military style managed to mow down men woman and kids waiting on platforms for the next train or guests and staff in hotels and restaurants enjoying an evening meal?

How many such Pakistanis have been blown to bits in the past 5 years?

Does it make you feel superior because they were blown up by pakistanis - just as the 166 in Mumbai were?

Or does it somehow mollify your ego that a lot of them were also blown up by weapons of a superpower - your own people, on your own soil, with the tacit look-on of your leaders and armed forces, normally tasked with protecting citizens in any other nation worth its name.

Get a grip!
Now that is a rip....since your own kind are determined to drag in the drones and OBL, in every debate and you have also proved it that you too are no exception, hence, one should also be prepared to taste his own medicine.

I hate both, most people do, though obviously, not everyone will have the same point of view.

Hi, welcome to the forum and we hate you too!
You brought infinite amounts of guns, ammo and drugs to our country, we bear the excess weight of 6 Million Afghan refugees, not to mention the culture of militancy and extremism that you introduced into our country that up till the 70s was a model of successful co-existence. You won't see me pretending that I love the Afghans and those deluded friends who do, do so because they still believe that the concept of a united ummah is a fair possibility(fat chance). Honestly, I think we should expel you guys, we followed that model in Bajaur and it was a success story until the new commandant relaxed the border policy for Afghan, and won't you know it......Bajaur is again at the forefront of a renewed campaign by the Taliban, led in person by Qari Zia Ur Rehman(An Afghan). I hope you read up on your history and do know that India too sponsored the NA, can't have a civil war without too warring factions can you?

Anyway, enjoy your stay, while it lasts!

Its incredible to read the statements in this thread.
I agree with your post fully apart from i think the refugee figures are closer to 10 million.
Our country has bent over backwards for the Afghani people and in return we get incredible statements of this nature.
I have been saying for months - we need to close the border and man it stringently and shoot on site any signs of militants and extremists. We should simply look after our own interests.
Its easy for India and Indians to show love and care for Afghanistan especially when they dont share a border like we do. Have a little think - the sun always shine better and longer a=on the other side - when you get their you realize the illusion and realize what you had in the first place.

I agree with your ideas on the figures since many refugees work as Pakistani nationals under falsified documents and almost every family has over 10 children who are not registered until they are 18, though they are mouths to feed, so they should be added to the official count.

First a Tajik (Khorasanian) came to PDF and made the Pakistani run for shelter(But I don't agree with him as he is anti-Afghanistan).
Now a Pashtun has come and is making Pakistani run for shelter.

Any nation that would accommodate 10 million refugees would be put under extreme pressure - our nation already struggles with our own peoples and still copes with the burden. On the whole most Pakistanis and Afghanistanis have a lot of affinity and love for each other - some internet global warriors think differently and want to blow a storm into a teacup.
Hate is a big word and having hatred for anyone isnt expressed often. I dont have hate for Afghanistani people but statements like this dont help and our friends yonder love to see the door slightly ajar and steam in to make a point. Words are cheap - action is non existant from them - apart from having "information centres " all over Afghanistan - because its such a "hot tourist spot" - not.

Guys,

I am not sure we should answer the OP's hate with our own hate in return. This hate will just spiral out of control and only harm both countries in the long run. Let us accept that there will always be a certain percent of incorrigible haters in any group; we must marginalize them and forge ahead with the moderate mainstream instead. The fact is that, due to close ties within Pakhtun populations on both sides of the border, we are tied to Afghanistan for better or for worse.

success story until the new commandant relaxed the border policy for Afghan

we need to close the border

Unfortunately, I don't think that is too realistic. The Pakhtun tribes in Pakistan would vehemently oppose any such closure. Now, one can say that they should respect the writ of the State but, given that the GoP has abrogated responsibility in these tribal areas for the last 60 years, what are the chances they can do so now?

I absolutely agree that the guns/drug culture of Afghanistan has been an absolute bane for Pakistani society, and must be curbed, but I am not sure there are any easy solutions there.

The Pukhtun Tribes themselves are fed up of Afghans, there is a common proverb in Bajaur, which can be translated as: "More thankless(treacherous) than a snake is an Afghan".
You might remember last year when the Taliban kidnapped over 30 children from the Mamond Tribe on Eid, they weren't returning them and the Jirga failed, they were only returned when the Mamond Tribe raised a lashkar of over 10,000 and were prepared to ravage the Afghan population uptil the Kunnar River in search of their Children, only then did the Afghan Tribes mobilize and a Jirga ordered the Children to be returned, if the Afghans were in control of their own land, these problems would never even have existed.

We have done much better in entering the once "No Go" areas and ridding the menace.

We have been doing that since the 80s and 90s ourselves. But that's not what I was asking.

Could you guys have done better were the Mumbai attack tables turned on Karachi?

Several thousand military casualties should put a lid on any cheap banter.

Again you are talking about your late-start war on your home grown scum that live on your soil.

I am talking about special forces taking out terrorists hiding behind hostages in an urban setting like Mumbai. Or Karachi.

Yes, those merely executing their duties and there are those exercising maximum attention, in middle of the scenario, recall the teacher with a bunch of ten twelve years old doing rounds and shouting anti-Pakistan slogans....do you people really wash the soap before your hands. !!

Yes, your scum were doing their duty and our forces were doing theirs.

Can you blame the teacher or the students?

There wasn't an Indian alive who wouldn't happily spit on a Pakistani at the time.

Sure. Point is our forces did the best they could in the face of a hostage situation. No better or worse than what the Russians managed at Beslan.

Your talking down on that effort with nothing better to show for your own side's efforts, notwithstanding that it was your scum that were being taken out in the first place, is the real rant.

Utter nonsense, last time I visited Army HQ, i only encountered some sentry's at the front gate, even an APC was placed there only after the attack. Your country is at war with itself. You don't need us. These were full-fledged commando style raids. Do not deflect by calling them "sabotage."

Now that is a rip....since your own kind are determined to drag in the drones and OBL, in every debate and you have also proved it that you too are no exception, hence, one should also be prepared to taste his own medicine.

My response to you was purely on your comments on the Mumbai attacks and the performance of our forces.

With regard to what came before or after, I am sure you are capable enough of taking it up with the concerned parties.
