Afghans hate of Pakistan - The real reason

Whole of Afghanistan upto Kabul belongs to Pakistan and esp pakistani pushtuns. The day of negotiating with Afghans is long gone. Youve had the chance since 1947 when your nation failed to recognize us, since then weve strived for nothing but peace only to be backstabbed by your government over and over.

My family personally raised afghans who left as refugees in the 80s as children... gave them a job and great upbringing, paid for their wedding, and homes... today they are very well off. Millions of Pakistanis did the same for your people and we are still greatfull to have done that because on the individual level we look at afghans as the same as pakistanis... your govt on the other hand is full of anti-pakistani warlords

Why fight with swords a battle that you can obtain victory by winning hearts?

I care not about the past. Barakzai's backstabbed Afghans and Pakistanis alike. The British kept Pakistanis down and prevented us from learning Dari.

Afghanistan and Pakistan should be one country, and that will happen. Regardless of what either of us think right now, this is the way it is headed. It will be an organic and natural union.

May Allah swt reward you for your kindness towards refugees and people in need.

It says that 55% people were in favor of joining Pakistan. [just because the turnout was 51percent? ]

So, the anti-Pakistan forces make wild guesses about the aspirations of those 49% who didn't come out to vote and somehow devise a mathematical equation to declare that only 55 percent wanted to join Pakistan? Disregarding the landslide victory in favor of Pakistan altogether (99% of the total votes cast).

That is very dishonest of that writer. From what I read, Pakistan had overwhelming support from Pukhtoons. They even stoned Nehru and Abdul Ghaffar. Tribesmen were fiercely loyal to Quaid e Azam.

Abdul Ghaffar Khan was rejected by his people, and he had to live in exile most of his life in Afghanistan.

I think he was being sarcastic, anyway imran is pathan his family have lived in punjab for centuries but I don't he considers himself anything other than pathan.

As far as mixed marriages are conserned they do happen I have 2 close friends whos fathers are pathan and mother's Punjabi and kashmiri. Both have told me that growing up their fathers side of the family would tell them to only speak pashto and and consider themselves pathan.

They both told me how their pathan side of the family would make racist remarks about their punjabi and Kashmiri heritage. Consequently they grew up hating their fathers side so much that one refuses to call herself anything other than kashmiri and both refused to marry into the pathan side much to the dismay of their father.

Similarly my brothers acquaintance also had to endure a lot of racism for having a punjabi mother, his father wouldn't even condemn which caused even more problems for his parents marriage. All my friends and acquaintances never suffered any racism from their punjabi or kashmiri side of the family.

Prophet Muhammad saws first move when he reached Madina was to being Aws and Khazraj together into one.

Here some people are still fighting over race like cavemen. Sorry to hear about your relatives.

As a Punjabi from Central Punjab with many Pukhtoon intermarriages in our khandan, I can tell you not all Pukhtoons are this way. We Punjabis also have our issues too with zat.

I am seeing very positive changes in our society lately, may it continue this way.

Here's why Afghanistan refused to recognise the Pashtun areas of Pakistan... And later Ali Muhammad Jinnah decided to make a deal with Afghanistan to have a joint governance of KPK, but that was forgotten later on...

In essence we did recognise Pakistan right after it was promised to us that we would also govern KPK, but as soon as KPK was merged, did we decide to not recognise it... This is the full story...

Assalam alaikum brother, hope everything is going well for you.

Please do not mind the more anti-Afghan sentiment here.

Any other source for above statement?

As someone who has followed and read much about Quaid e Azam, I have never read this.

You lack any knowledge to make such a comment. Punjab/Sindh itself are sooo diverse. There are many pushtuns, kashmiris, balochis and mojahers in punjab. Atleast half of punjab are outsiders. There are prob more pushtuns in karachi alone than all of kabul/kandahar combined.

Punjabi elite? Pushtuns hold more influence in the military/isi than punjabis

Sindhis/mojahers hold more influence in business than punjabi

All ethnic groups but most esp pushtuns, punjabis, and kashmiris despise india the most but same can be said about northern indians hating pakistan more compared to bengalis/south indians.

As a theth Punjabi speaker from Faisalabad, I do not consider Hindko, Seraiki, and Pahari languages the same. There are many dialects of Punjabi, even Gujranwala are different than Lahore, etc. There are commonalities and differences.

Hindko, I know because my extended family speak it (they are Pukhtoons,) has a heavy influence of Pukhto.

Seraiki has heavy Sindhi influence.

Good to hear that it's not like that in your family, honestly I have come across this many times here in the UK. My father's side of the family come from kpk and have said racist language against punjabis is deeply ingrained and widespread amongst pak pathan it's what they are taught from birth, that they are racially superior and punjabis are racially inferior.

These sorts of horrendous opinions are not widespread amongst us punjabis agree some people care about clan and zat but I have never seen punjabis marry non punjabis and teach their children to hate their non punjabi heritage.

.
Too bad the country "Afghanistan" that was once able to challange its neighbor for territorial issues doesnt exist anymore to exert any sort of "Foreign policy". It cannot even pay salaries of its government employees and have two heads of the state not even counting the strong opposition

Diaspora have alot of ANP and other toxic mix which left Pakistan in the 90s. They have a mindset which is frozen in time.

PTI victory set things in motion and propelled KPK to the center of government. With Karachi Urdu speakers and Punjab supporting PTI, many of the old hate and divisions collapsed.

Believe in this idea of Pakistan, it is the future. We need to put down our past and embrace the future. It is coming at a rapid pace.

Afghans will one day be part of our country, the way things are unfolding, I see it as the natural course of history.

Even if we want to run away, magnetically we will be pulled it. Our circumstances on both sides necessitate it.

Growing up in Faisalabad, many of my good friends were Afghans, Christians, Shias, and others. We grew up in a very diverse environment. Everyone lived together. This is the beauty of Punjab on micro level and the beauty of Pakistan as a whole on a macro level.

Afghans working out of Liberty, etc. they are as much part of our country as anyone else. They are not going back, they are Pakistanis now.

Too bad the country "Afghanistan" that was once able to challange its neighbor for territorial issues doesnt exist anymore to exert any sort of "Foreign policy". It cannot even pay salaries of its government employees and have two heads of the state not even counting the strong opposition

Afghanistan is being remade anew. Have some patience.

You will see a much more pro-Pakistan government coming. Our relations will reach the sky.

Where did you experience them?

I am curious, because I had different experiences than you in Lahore, esp in the 90s and early 2000s.

Kabul is the source of everything wrong with Afghanistsn. I am waiting for the day when Taliban delivers divine jirga justice on those lifafa cronies.

I lived 4 years in KPK during university. Encountered many Afghanis in Peshawar. Some of them second generation. They all hate Pakistan, they hide it quite well initially but if you prod them a bit further their venom comes out. And they're quite racist against us brown Pakistanis.

Brother, my friends pathan family are not anp they are just ordinary pak pathans as previously stated the racism not just in afghans but pak pathans is wide spread anyone who doubts it need to spend some time in kpk. If Afghanistan ever became part of pakistan then I'm afraid pakistan is finished they will simply turn the whole country to Afghanistan like they already have done to kpk and Karachi.

I know you mean well but if you lived in pakistan like my family do you would not be feeling optimistic after suffering decades of terrorism and serious crime at the hands of these hate filled bigoted afghans.

My experience is the same with afghan/pathans here in the UK as well as in pakistan especially in kpk. Yes they do act friendly on the surface but like you said it doesn't take much for them to show their venom.
This is why pakistan has had so many problems emanating from kpk and it will continue to do so regardless of the ptm movement being dealt with or not. Because whether they admit it or not this issue for them is about racial supremacy.

I know, my family was affected by terrorism too. I lost family members to it. I myself nearly missed a bomb blast in Islamabad because I took a different road than usual.

I still remember when Afghan kidnappers would go door to door in Lahore to ask to use restroom for their kids and women, then count all men in the house and return at night to kidnap, murder, and rob Pakistanis.

I also know that many people in KPK have terrible experiences with Afghan mafias, they looted Peshawar, Dir, Swat, Mansehra, and other areas with impunity.

However we cannot paint all Afghans this way. Many are simply victims of the US invasion and the internal infighting in Afghanistan. Many women and children work in homes in Pakistan as servants to feed their families. I feel very strongly for such people. It is humiliating.

I am a Punjabi Rajput from Faislabad, somehow maybe I get along too well with Pukhtoon Pakistanis and Afghans, I don't know. I am also a religious student, in addition to my medical vocation.

I know racism in Pukhtoons is there. I heard any darker skin Pukhtoon called as Kala by other Pukhtoons, and also a light skin Pukhtoon called as Gul Khan. So it goes both ways.

Punjabis can be equally racism, some of the ways we interact with our poorer depressed and dark skinned classes/ peasants is not fair.

There are still some Punjabis stuck in zat politics, while it is 2020 and their children are freely marrying anyone they want. Lol.

We pray for hidaya to all people. We Muslims need to change the way we are thinking, if we choose to be successful. What works for the early Muslims, the same will work for us.

I didn't seem to have this problem with Pakistani Pathans. A slight bit of racism yes. But with the Afghanis it was different, much more insidious. I still remember one particular taxi driver on the way to Peshawar airport, a young 25 year old guy with a Pakistani passport but he couldn't stop expressing his displeasure about Pakistan. And the ones in the Bara market.

I am so sorry that you and your poor family had to endure at the hands of these afghans. Terrorism will continue as well as crime if these afghans aren't deported back to Afghanistan. What's happening to them in Afghanistan is self inflicted they themselves invited the soviet russians to Afghanistan then when the russians started to rape and kill their men and women they all ran in the milions to our country which they flooded with guns and drugs.

Then they gave a international wanted terrorist refuge and refuse to hand him over despite musharraf sending numerous envoys. Thus inviting the USA and NATO forces to their own country which has bombed them for nearly 20 decades. Again they came running in the millions to our country and ended up committing acts of terrorism which have resulted in the deaths of 70.000 civilians including a entire school of children countless soldiers and police officers and still counting.

Remember they were the only country in the world which voted against the creation of pakistan then a Afghan national assinated the first prime minister of pakistan. Then repeatedly attacked kpk on numerous occasions even dropping leaflets demanding pashtunistan they also have attacked pakistans embassy in Afghanistan repeatedly for 70 plus yrs.

Brother, I to am a rajput and I say this to you and other patriotic pakistanis if these people are not deported and if Afghanistan ever merges with pakistan you can honestly kiss your country goodbye.

Look no further than what they have done to Karachi and indeed what they have done to Afghanistan.

What is wrong with unified Pathan state ? look at European history - German & Italian nation states were formed over centuries

I realize Punjabi Muslim elite ruling Pakistan might not like the idea. For the record I am not advocating one.

Not a bad idea we should give that pathan state inside india and call it new pathan state right next to dehli

Thank you for clarifying Afghanistans point of view but I have to say it still makes no sense for a Pakistani. As per your source Pakistan agreed to "negotiate" which does not imply an agreement to pass sovereignty of a region belonging to itself to another country. If circumstances are bad and you desire my property I can agree to negotiate to give you a portion of my house but if my circumstances improve I am not bound to continue the negotiation as it is legally my house.

The circumstances under which Pakistani officials may have made this offer of negotiation have to be taken into consideration. Pakistan a completely new country in August/September 1947 was engaged in a full out war with India and Pashtun lashkars were participating in liberating Muslims in Jammu, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan from Dogra tyranny. Millions of Muslims in these regions had been massacred or lost their homes and were pouring into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Punjab not to mention the countless rape of Muslim women. A completely new state apparatus had to be constructed as the state finances were empty and in the midst of all of this a Muslim nation comes in to exploit our misfortune and use it for its personal gain. Yes Pakistan may have made mistakes in its dealings with Afghanistan at points as well but in my opinion the source of the tension between the two countries is crystal clear. It originates from the irridentist desires of the Kabuli elite who saw the tensions of 1947 and the misfortune of their neighboring Muslim state as a perfect time to expand their territory. If Afghanistan does not want to recognize Pakistan based on negotiations which were to be made during our state of chaos then I believe that is more telling of the state of Afghanistan than Pakistan.

May I ask who are YOU ? And what exactly is your issue with us punjabis since your a yank going by the flag in your profile.

He is a Bharti troll embarrassed of his flags.

In reality world things doesn't work the way Afghanistan is /was thinking. Referendum was granted, Abdul ghaffar Khan was a ghulam of Bharti and he could participate and vote for bhart, but he knew the reality. You can't cry foul if you boycott the opportunity. Secondly most people in NWFP didn't participated either out of fear of backlash from such lawless elites or because they were already mentally Pakistanis. Those who participated were also in majority who favored Pakistan. Hence the chapter closed.

BTW can you post the source about Jinnah announcing joint governance.

" Pakistani officials verbally promised Afghanistan that the two countries would negotiate over the management"
.

There is no such thing as verbally promising. Either there is a statement by officials which is well documented or there are agreements. Kindly post the quoted statement or pic of an agreement.

Wrong my family have worked in the civil service and indeed punjabis make up for 60% of the population. And we are a ethnicity who are YOU to tell us other wise.

Nonsense, Punjabis make up slightly above 44% not 60% of population.
@ziaulislam

.
There is no doubt that there is hate for the state of Pakistan amongst Afghans. I'll list the reasons why each ethnic group says they hate Pakistani state (not the people of Pakistan).

Tajiks and Uzbeks - Pakistan supports Taliban/Gulbuddin or other Pashtun religious factions against them. Interferes in internal politics favouring one side.

Pashtuns - Territorial dispute, Durand Line seperates Pashtuns. Pakistani states 2 faced policy. First support Taliban and religious factions to make sure no nationalistic Afghan government is formed and then betray Taliban and these religious groups by siding with foreign invaders in 2001 and providing them full support for dollars etc.

Baluch - Pakistan along with Iran and Afghanistan hold their Baluch territories and are an obstacke to an independent Baluch state.

Hazara - They see Pakistani support for Sunni extremist groups as a threat to themselves.

The hate is generally for Pakistani state policy. There is no hatred for Pakistani people.

.
As we can see the "hate" stems mainly due to issue with Afgoons them selves. But they they being dishonest characters never tell the truth.

Indians willy nilly dont actually understand the reason for the hate, and they being the world biggest brain washed clowns just join the band wagon of bashing Pakistan.

i feel so sorry for indians trying lecture us here at PDF... they dont realise we are better informed then they are.

Most Indians who have met the "Afgoons" abroad have quickly changed their opinion about Hindi-Afghan Bhai Bhai and stuff. Never seen a more two-faced people who will literally stab you when your back is turned.

Trusting an Afghan is equal to a suicide wish.

you need to understand their mentality .. the same two faced mentality makes their land unconquerable.

When an invader invades they break up into two group. one fights the invader , the other sides with the invader but really he is on the side of insurgents.

Soviet Commanders often noticed this, when their units move into a village they act friendly and so on but what they are really doing is passing on critical information to the rebel units such as troop numbers, unit formation etc.

they cannot help being straight.

now coming to india equation .. they really dont like hindus they know the treatment of muslims under hindu india. they being "nice" to you is due to the fact indians light up when they know a anti Pakistan ally is found. The need India to help settle their feud with Pakistan steeming from Duriand line.
